I will be buying on release. DayZ must need a good cash burst to help carry the game further into the future, especially after they recently hired more onto the team. Hopefully the DLC is financially beneficial for the company so they can keep DayZ alive for the foreseeable future. I think the cost is reasonable, especially considering how many hours you can sink into the game! Thanks Wobo ❤

I'll have to disappoint you: 1. "New" ATC building is actually a retexture of the Arma 3 Tanoa's ATC building (green colored instead of white). 2. Lava assets are also not new - these are the cold lava rocks, black, nothing too fancy. They are used on Tanoa as well, in that same volcano you see on Sakhal.

@@Quxrk I’ve tried the base game map. I played it for like 50 hours but found it way too big and boring. I know there’s other maps, but I’m a huge fan of the winter setting on top of all the cool aspects that namalsk has like blizzards, frostbite, frozen food, the teleporting orb, Ice sheets, space suits, to name a few… I also just enjoy being able to get from one side to the other in under an hour of play.

Anyone mad at paying for this is either irrational or just not a fan of this game. DayZ is amazing, the more successful the update/new map & features, the better for players in terms of future content. Pay the $30 bucks and have fun knowing you're sustaining the company that has provided us all with one of the best gaming experiences we've ever had. That's actually a small price if you consider the bang for the buck per how many hours you have and will put into the game.

I've been playing dayz for years. I put a few thousand hours in on PlayStation and Xbox, and finally joined the master race and put several thousand hours in on that too. Honestly I would pay more for this DLC because I'm so happy with the hours of entertainment I've already had for my money. Dayz is the real deal. They've consistently updated and worked on the game as long as I can remember. I hope this gives them some more resources to develop the game even further

Look at the arma 3 Tanoa lava rocks. They’re just hardened lava which have dried completely and aren’t a liquid at all. Nothing crazy, they will probably be near some beaches like on Tanoa

@@wnbross5926 It doesn't have to be a friendly interaction, just an interaction. I love PvP and maniacs, sometimes i'm one of them. I love official, cause most people can't build a base cause it will be raided within days, which forces people to start fresh and loot up. And because of that i find people all over the map which is awesome. Community servers with basebuilding are often very quiet and boring, cause people spend most of their time in or around their base instead of looting all over the map.

@@isbjornen7418 Yeah I agree bro, I played official for 2K hours when I was learning the game with my friends, Spend the other 3k hours on community, I like fast paced servers some of them are class with mods. Just have to find the balance of what you like yn. For example I’m on a 50 slot full pop with tons of custom bases and loot spawns. People game-chat and mess around teaming up to fight geared guys etc it’s all around pandemonium lol - They are out there man takes some time to find a server worthy of the playtime

There are objects in Arma 3 called "lava rocks" too and they're just a dark grey rock. Pretty sure the rocks got added with Tanoa too. Might not mean lava is getting added

Not saying they should, but I would love for dayz to reach out and pay the inline modding community to implement more varieties of items. I know there are a buttload of items already, a pot for every lid, but imagine what could be in official: Here are a few cool ideas: - customizable vehicles (pushbar) (foglights) (color) (winch) -more meds and sicknesses with medical log and a journal or something -dynamic wandering hordes -blacksmithing (steelwork) (minerals and crafting) -more food varients and food buffs. I've always wondered why there are only peelable potatoes in the game, they added (peel) to 1 single item. And to prepare pumpkins, the only veggie you can prepare. I feel that there could be more use of these actions. I'd like to prepare stake dinner by (steak, peeled potato, greenpeppers and mushrooms Sautee them in a frying pan with fat (not a pot or I could make stew which isn't the buff I'm looking for) from that, I create a dish called (stirfry) with more benefits to food, and maybe decreased stamina drain or walk normal while at yellow health... I don't know just ideas, I know we all have them. This wouldn't make the game better, just more appealing to some,.

If you look close on the rifle it does look like it has some adjustment dials on the top of the scope so that would not be the SSG with it's version of the pu if that is the case , Barrel seems to be thicker to me like it's heavier for a bigger caliper .possibility 338 🤷‍♂️
