Tavo Taper yeah, I prefer consoles for pure skill and also the accuracy of the controller over the mouse (though many differ...) since I can control whatever speed I turn, look and walk better, let alone have a better reaction time since every one of my fingers could press a button much faster than a keyboard...

***** I just like that i know that i didn't beat the guy, because my PC was better than his. I like how we are on a similar playing field. I don't think controllers, headsets, and tv's can be counted in terms of unfair though, but one guy getting 20 to 30 fps and the other guy getting 120 fps is not fair. I also like how there are less hackers and less elitists.

Tavo Taper of coarse, but I tend to have more of a chivalry when playing PC and just do it for fun (I used to play BF P4F and I somehow pwned people with an entirely stock computer and I didn't spend a dime on the game...I don't know how, but I make people who just dump cash into their PC and character look foolish xD) and in consoles we could obviously play racing games better than PC, unless the players have a gaming wheel in which we may as well be even in that category but it would be weird to imagine cross platform gaming in the later years as well...we may never know what is truly "best" for whatever player and for being fair and which is just to show off your flashy toys, though

You need to buy Arma 2: Combined operations. Then download DayZ commander (if you prefer that) and download DayZ. Google is a nice thing also

Does anyone think Day Z standalone will be just like it is now? It will basically be shoot on sight, but it will have to be a clean shot not just spraying at someone. If there is a way to fix items then people can unload bullets into people no problem. I think if there is a Day Z standalone RP server then that will be cool. It could have base building and whatnot. I just think that the whole shoot on sight thing is ridiculous in a survival game. I also think that there should be more zombies and that they should be tougher, faster, and have better animations.

art of the suck I have seen how the items can be damaged, but i didn't know if you would be able to repair the item. I think it looks amazing but i am worried if it is going to require a high end PC. I hope not because everyone should be able to enjoy a game. That is one reason why i enjoy consoles sometimes over a PC, because my friends aren't lagging. PC does have good graphics but what good is the graphics if you get bad fps. I just wish everyone could enjoy any game without having to worry about specs.

I think Rocket said that servers were going to be locked to certain graphical settings so that the low spec guys can play without having shit frames and the high end guys can revel in their wonderful graphics.

art of the suck Are the graphics set at one thing or does the user select it? I am not big on PC gaming since most of my friends have consoles. I like it for the mods, steam sales, and games but it doesn't feel right when i am beating a guy just because i am getting 2x his fps. I have stuck to console for most competitive games for that reason. i just wish console players could enjoy Arma or Day Z for that matter. I know there are not enough buttons but they could sale game pads for the game or you could plug in your keyboard. It would be really cool if they started putting PC exclusives onto next gen. It might finally show the developers that they don't have to hold back and let PC gaming become better as well as help console gaming.

I bet that the user can select there settings and it will filter the servers with those settings. I think that the forced server settings will be an option that server owners will be able to turn off/on. They MIGHT bring it to console but not until they finish the PC version.
