If you notice some freezes every so often, it is because I have been having issues with my game recently. Not sure what is causing it but I think its hardware related. If you have any idea, let me know please. I have my suspicion that it might be a corrupted RAM stick. Thanks in advance!

I had similar issues with the game until I upgraded my CPU. I would check the duty cycle or usage percentage of your hardware while recording and playing the game. On my old CPU I would be at 90% or higher. I have a Ryzen 7 3700x currently and it runs at maybe 50% now. Freezing/stuttering is drastically reduced. Sadly with how unpolished DayZ is, and you throw mods and independent servers on top of that…. It will never be an issue free experience.

I was having this exact issue myself a couple of days ago. I am a PC noob so I called the guys I bought my pre-built from. They advised to completely remove my GPU driver (Nvidia) and reinstall. I did and have no issues now.

i had the same issue, i needed to reinstall my windows and all of the stuff around that and a mistake i did was havin Dayz and the mods on 2 different drives so u should probably check that out :D

First modded server I played was Aftermath, has come a long way by looks of this and it was a lot of fun back then. Sever owners/modders are getting very creative, excellent to see. Great content as always.

A tip for more nails when you come across a spawn build kit beds etc. break it down with axe and get about 6 planks and about 15 nails.

Full Tilt Gaming is pretty bloody fantastic. Start in Banov with PVE area to the south and PVP to the north, plus the ability to purchase a ticket and travel to Namalsk for better gear. Though the Namalsk environment is ramped up to super tough so you have to get geared up and prepped before going. Loot isn't readily available and crafting is encouraged. It's bloody great.

I tried Aftermath and I feel that the balance is off. For players that enjoy the survival aspects, it's almost too easy with the amount of loot available, even in coastal towns. I'm having a hard time finding a balance between servers having too much loot, such as aftermath, and servers that have so little that it's next to impossible to stay alive solo, such as DayZ Underground. I'd like something that's modded with custom assets, base building, etc. along the lines of Aftermath but with vanilla amounts of loot.

Idk if anyone reads it, but i think Crocaine has gotten a pretty nice server too :) The admin team is extremely nice and the server owner regularly adds new content. There are various modded militarys, many events aswell airdrops, where you can get better loot. The owner even added a pretty nice pve system where you can as an example mine ores and craft your own stuff :)

Honestly,the only server i tried out yet is The Hideout. It has high loot,but also high amount of zombies and players around,and also lots of KOS players,bandits,cannibals and so on. Yeah,the loot might be over the fence,but it is still better than having zero chance to find like a proper weapon. Atleast you get to stack up on stuff if you get one tapped. Plus on the Hideout,i have met some of the most innocent and friendly player and they were fully geared,like hell,like,they had a complete car repaired and a house bunkered up.

I wish someone would make a server based on The Last of Us. Thereafter for the map (inspired by TLOU and it's amazing honestly) and clicker/stalker/infected re-skins for zombies (I'm surprised it hasn't already been done). Idk, maybe it's just me but that sounds awesome and I wish it'll happen.

@@Xclusion thats true. I'm just surprised it hasn't been done yet though because the core game of DayZ is already pretty similiar to The Last of Us. Radiation resembles spores, regular infected are already pretty close (look wise), etc.

Interesting server. It does seem to be balanced. Lots of action and deaths, but that is the life in Dayz. Hopefully its just a game issue, maybe verify file integrity? Crocaine server is the best dayZ can offer. Also if you check most of big named servers they are hosted on low latency global ping providers, which means the ping would result low both for players in the US and EU, making them often the most populated servers. The things they dont tell you when you join are the pornorates their server config are set to.

I mean the quest system is different, I like it, the view distance is prob the most amazing thing, but besides these 2, I don't see the "balance" compared to others modded servers. There's still loads of modded guns that deals incredible amount of damage, there's still black market for higher calibers so they're not immediately accessible, there's still the basebuilding and the airdrops, there's still helis, I mean im not saying it in a bad way I'm just confused it doesn't look any different from other servers out there.

I dont really mind traders so long as I cant buy EVERYTHING I need after running straight there from the coast. Atleast aftermath have find only guns and other items which kind of forces you out of the trader. Plus whilst at the trader you might have noticed there was no other players there, which is a good sign as I usually find like 20 guys chilling in traders on other servers with gear fear.

I think one tap weapons are fine to have, but they need to be exceedingly rare. Like if you see it in the killfeed you wanna know where that guy is and hunt him down.

Both EFT and dayZ are very punishing games and can always feel like your not making it anywhere after hours of gameplay so can be pretty hard for some people to stick it out, I would recommend dayz before eft the dayz community is alot more helpful to new players

Modded servers kill me. I just want a server with modded base building, heli’s, and more variety of vehicles. I’m not fond of traders but I don’t dislike them, just depends on how much cash you start with and starter loot as well. If I spawn in with a gun and stacks of food I am out immediately. It takes away from the game so much! And the lightly modded servers that are awesome are no base building adventure only servers without heli’s. Then there’s server markers that’s really inconvenient for a lone wolf going against a squad; bounty servers ugh 😑. I always get hit with a bounty randomly when I happen to be trying to get a base set up and of course then everyone knows where you are lol it shouldn’t be this hard to find a good server!!!!! But this one looks to me like it’s worth checking out my dude thanks!

I wish there were more servers focused more on the zombie survival part of DayZ tbh. I want roaming hoards, maybe even zombie base attacks, I want the modded guns and loot but for it to be harder to find. Keycard bases should have swarms of infected. I like Dayz cus its Zombie Survival, not to play budget Rust. Anyone know of any servers that are more like this?

sounds nice AF, i just miss the "Organic-RP" that DuG used to have, now days i dont know. it was a server then i played on it both KOS and not KOS, there was no rule for No-KOS. but if someone running with nothing in there hands it ment "friendly", sure you could get killed, but it wasn't like on a "PvP" server. i would like to see more "RP" stuff on the servers. i am done with CS, CoD and BF gamestyle. feels old. well i am old tho xD

the worst servers are those with traders AND starting money (almost always tons of money), so u basically spawn, run to trader, buy good gear and logout because theres nothing more to do. I like Aftermath but i dont like the their building mod. I prefer BaseBuildingPlus for building bases. Rearmed is pretty good tho
