They need to make it so players can shoot from the humvee in the gunner seat, this would make it so much more valuable. No idea why they never allowed for this.

Too much work regarding hitboxes and bullet travel, the same reason you cant shoot from regular vehicles

Dayz has really big potential with vehicles. But the way Cars are implemented is stupid. Cars give you nothing other then being able to travel fast. In all other aspects they are just deathtraps. We could easily have armourd cars, a feature where you can lean out the window to shoot and even some other Vehicles like Motorcycles, Scooters or Bycylces. The Devs are just lazy as hell.

And they also need to make it worth building them on a server. Those walls are the most laggy thing you can possibly put on your server. For some reason; player built walls have the asset load of like 30 compared to in the editor; each asset having a load of 1.

Next time you coud want having tank... but its DayZ not GTA... and its why we love it... we all know how rare is to run and see someone in car.. if they armored its not fun, you cant shoot team and you dont have pvp until you find them getting out... so i prefer no armored cars... its real DayZ for me .. i loved game before for one hit kills... this is total opposite
