The very first thing you should always do on Sakhal is use the knife you spawn with to gather bark and then get some sticks and make a fire to get the heat buff. Otherwise you'll quickly start losing health and your hunger and dehydration will also speed up if you're cold. You also need to learn to block zombies or you'll keep dying to them and your clothes will also constantly get ruined. Walk backwards with your fists up, wait for the zombie to do the two hits then stagger them with a power punch while holding shift. You can block them forever without ever taking damage.

No way with this coincidence. I just logged off b4 I started watchin this video in bed. The hunting shop at 14:10. I just walked into that hunting shop 2 find a dude with a gun pointed at me. Managed to take him out. The hunting shop was literally the last place I wanted 2 check out b4 loggin out. Got my first Sakhal kill in that shop n it was my first time ever in that village. Keep the dope content comin bro.

Sahkal has brought back life to the game imo. Yes the loot can be dog water to start but to face the challenges of a new spawn and then kit up with the right play? No better feeling 🙏 This map forces you to play survival/pvp, weigh your options so to speak. Less run and gun 🤷🏻‍♂️

To be honest, I like that survival is hard on this map, I like it. I think the team still has a little work to do regarding the loot. I like forested mountainous areas, but I wouldn't say I like that there is absolutely nothing. They could add a cabin, some random tents with loot, and some zombie hunters with loot on them. The forest is a dead space in this map. In Chernarus the forests have heli crashes, Deerstands, and Random cabins, everything is much more blended and does not give you the impression of dead space. And the boat, the search for containers on the shore among the glaciers, I don't know what to say, I think it will become boring in the future. I hope the DayZ team will add and improve some things with this map in the future.

When in doubt, wait it out. There will always be a camper at a well to just find some unlucky bastard to take their loot. When it comes to hunting, patience is virtue. A Mosin will always one shot deer.

This map is a sniper's paradise. To get a sniper rifle, you must loot settlements surrounded by hills. There could always be a sniper there. Chelated tablets, a pot, and a sniper rifle are all you need on this map. (Unless you die before you have them)

I found out by accident, i was dying and desperate. I ate 4 pieces of wolf far and 1 bear fat and did not get sick. Its not alot, but its something.

If you cook the meat (not bear or wolf meat), in the water obtained from the snow or even from those warm lakes, the meat will be cooked as if it were boiled, without making you sick. But the water is not good to drink. It would help with hydration. I'm not sure if it works. but you can try, maybe it will save your life someday.

I haven't had any issues with making friends on this map, unfortunately I'm the first one to die of the randoms I meet but, meeting people in spawn towns isn't a issue for me at least

Idk about that 9 times out of 10 I end up teaming up with people I meet by a fire on the coast. Don’t act so sketchy, act friendly it makes a big difference.
