I think the guy you killed was his friend and he was helping him to remove this door. They didn't seemed to be fighting each others, he was just standing there with empty hands. It's possible that he was telling the truth about his base but maybe he just logged in the server and he was stuck in someone else's new base or something like this? I'm not too sure... If it was his friend you got lucky he didn't kill you!

Why am I so invested in the outcome of that dude? Lol, I need to know how it turned out for him! One time I logged out in a green mustache, and when I logged back in it was someone's base. It took me forever to brute force the 4-digit lock, and once I FINALLY did, I was killed literally 4 steps out of the door. Brutal.

I logged back in a day later and the server pulled me back and I was back in his base but he'd built another gate so I was trapped inside 😭

They have changed the gates. From what i have experienced recently when someone changed my lock was the only fix was to cycle through until i figured it out. If the lock is on the door it seams it is indistructable. Cant take the wire off. Cant even get a prompt to hit it. Shooting thousand of rounds front or back does nothing. 8 c4 did nothing. Two x nade cooker bombs did nothing. And grenades shot from launcher directly at doir do not even explode. Tested on fire house across the way launcher nades exploded as they should. Back at door . nothing. No explosion not even a sound. This is great for keeping the base safer unless they do change your combo i guess.
