when I owned my own server I used to get the radio station going and broadcast on 88.5 the caravan to midnight show for all the players on the server.

It would be hilarious to have this in your base, you kill or uncon someone and get on it saying "cleanup on isle 5, attention shoppers please take care near and around isle 5" or "attention shoppers the time is now 9:45, please make your way to the cash registers" or "silo 3 online, please clear the blast zone, i repeat, please clear the blast zone"

I have access to a PA system. I want to use it, but I'm kind of fresh to be thinking about it now. I like the idea of playing the radio in town. I don't really want to risk that without a base set up.

As I understand it, when you use the PA system it can be heard on the entire map not just the two it is in - so hard to pin down where its being played! But sure, if you want to use it just put a base door inside the building room the PA is in, if that's your worry!

Nope. Slot is for a small battery.
