Connie is singing in her bedroom in the new house, her Dad has since built her a music studio at the bottom of the garden, Connie records in numerous recording studios around the world and has done so since she was 6 years old. I fist saw her perform live in 2012 in Hong Kong after she had just turned 11, Connie was promoting her album Beautiful world on a tour round Asia, Connie wrote the main song when she was 7 and her hour long performance was totally professional and as superb as this song. Connie writes and records a lot of her own music but does a lot of covers on KZbin where she has 1.97 million subscribers and had a billion views many years ago. Connie’s latest song is “Easier Pretending You’re Dead” and it is about time Britain woke up and appreciated and rewarded her pure talent as she is much better received in Asia and America, Connie is the most underrated British musician, I could write a book on the great Connie’s achievements but I will stop there.

She has other covers from song of that same movie, many of which she sang in their kitchen. I guess acoustics were good in her moms kitchen. She also performed on AGT the champions and sang her own song. She is also an amazing song writer.

Connie Talbot I was introduced to when she was about 5 years old or so on her audition for Britain's Got Talent many years ago. She absolutely stunned the crowd and the judges with her voice, singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Here is the link as it would make a great reaction. Daz, If you want to be in for a treat, there is an artist that I strongly encourage you to react to. A very emotional performance for most. Eva Cassidy was a folk, jazz, and blues singer and acoustic guitarist in the 1980s and '90s. Tragically, she passed away from melanoma in 1996 at the age of only 33. She was relatively unknown outside her home area of Washington DC before her death although she had produced a couple of albums. But posthumously word spread, and she became a legend selling over 20 million records after her death! Her voice is like nothing you've heard before in terms of emotion and tone. The only way I can describe it is like a crystal clear lake where you can see to the bottom. She also does her own arrangements of songs to make them her own. She has a few dozen recordings on KZbin on her channel, but only about a dozen or so which were the only audio video recordings of her ever taken at one of her final performances, less than a year before her death. Her version of Somewhere over the Rainbow is considered to be one of the finest ever recorded and I totally agree. As I said there are a few dozen others but I would start with that one. Get your tissues ready 😮‍💨. Eva is also known for her rendition of Fields of Gold by Sting. It is notable in and of its own. But more remarkably, Angelina Jordan also recorded this song, And there is a mashup virtual Duo of the two of them singing this song together which is heavenly. I think a great follow-up suggestion for you.

I remember seeing something about Eva and the condition she had before she passed away but I dont think I have heard any of her music so I am happy to react some of her songs. Thank you for the suggestion Ron.

Daz, you are listening to someone who, in my mind, s singularly responsible for the success of all the National Got Talent Shows around the world. Strong statement? You bet. She performed at the first BGT in 2007, at 6 years old, and sang 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow', a cappella. The entire viewing audience fell in love with her not only because of her extraordinary voice but because of the kind of little person she was so humble and respectful. Daz, sound familiar? When she gets to the finals she sings the song again with music behind her. Daz, besides 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow', I strongly suggest you listen to her sing 'Smile'. Yes, she should be world famous by now and 'out of her living room' but that is a story for another day. Please listen to the two songs I suggested.

I dont know enough or havent seen enough of her to be able to agree or disagree with your statements on her Robert but one thing is for sure is that I will be watching a lot more of her, starting with Smile and Somewhere Over The Rainbow :)

@@Dazza010 it is just a cell phone recording, so it's not worth reacting to. Normally she would be all over the stage, so I'm thinking it was a last minute addition to the show and she wasn't able to work out the staging with the lighting person.
