I didn't intentionally listen to this kind of songs ( I'm into Folk , Rock and Country musics) but decided to explore her performances outside the Wish Bus. I found out that Morissette simply introduced me to to other genres that she made likeable and pleasant to the ears. 🥰🏆

You are not the first nor the last -reactor- person who said the same question, "Why is she not known all over the world?". There are technologies, there are popularity, there are artists, but there IS a talent like Morissette. What makes her more lovable is that she doesn't just have an unbelievable talent, she also had a wonderful heart! She cares and respect others, she loved everyone on her path, despite all bad situations/problems she had, she remains with a smile on her face. She is a true model of a true artist!

The western labels are too afraid to sign up asian talents because they know what these talents ca do to their artist. The west might have the knack of writing commercial music but hands down Asians have the soul & passion for singing in my opinion. It's great that Cameron McIntosh has the guts to cast an Asian in the West End musical Le Miserable. Because he knows the play transcends race. He just wants the best of the best for his audience, which should be.

Nicely said, Over the years I have seen a lot of good songs that have been destroyed by the same artists live performance. It just goes to show how much work is put into a lot of after production. One thing I have noticed with Asian artists is that they are just as incredible live as they are in the studio.

Hello Daz, it´s great that you discover so many new artist and dig into their rabbit holes! This song reminds me of another artist that you haven´t started to react to yet, Daneliya Tuleshova from Kazakhstan, who sang it at age 10 in the Ukraine Voice talent show. She is a half year younger than Angelina Jordan and has imho one of the best "pop" voices of our time. I am sure you will eventually will react to her, try e.g. her cover of Duncan Laurence - Arcade to get an idea. Cheers :)

It's terrible that you assume this performance must be better than the original just because Morissette is singing it. And, I feel terrible agreeing with you but, there it is. I have not heard a cover song from Morissette, after listening to her for more than 5 years, that hasn't been better than the original. And her originals are better than any covers. So there! Oh, wait...when she covers her own originals, the cover is as good as (or better than) her original. And, her covers of her covers are better than (or as good as) her original cover. This is really confusing but worth noting nonetheless. 😊😊 Full disclosure, I am a fan even though I'm not Pinoy.

All I can do is assume based on what I have seen of Morissette and her covers. I have no idea what Demi sings, dont think I have ever heard any of her music so I just came on that predictions because well its Morissette covering it lol.
