The fun thing is that Osamu Dazai is a Japanese wirither(One of the most famous) and he actualy commited suicide by drownig in the Tsushima river of tokyo. Even the Dazai"s ability "The squalificated" is a book wirthed by Dazai, (Yeah, almost all the character in this manga/anime are inspirated to real writher)

It wasnt the tsushima river it was the tamagawa canal where he commited suicide with his wife. I cant find anything called the Tsushima river on google but Osamu Dazai was just a pen name and his real name was Shūji Tsushima so maybe Tsushima river is just a nickname for the canal where he died.
