Zeppelin are the real deal, and the chemistry within the band was so tight that when drummer John Bonham died in 1980 they called it a day. So many great songs to chose from. I think "Ten Years Gone" would be a great song for you.

This is very early Zepp they have only been together less than a year. Jimmy Page the guitarist covered this song while he was in The Yardbirds. This song is kind of like the Frankenstein's monster Led Zeppelin always changing this song from 1969-1979.

I think this was a very early performance may have been as Yardbirds2. They were 19-21 years old. Jimmy's guitar was a home made guitar.

I haven't seen this video of Dazed and Confused, the one I'm more familiar with is from the 1973 concert at Madison Square Garden used in their movie "The Song Remains the Same". I think that version clocks in around 13 or 14 minutes and the "Bow" solo is longer. And is Robert wearing "Jesus" sandals? Had me a few pairs of those in the early '70s.

On the Song Remains The Same double album vinyl, took up the entire side 2 playing for 26 minutes, 53 seconds. I used to sit between 2 stereo speakers & notice how some parts of the song dance between the speakers. A little freaky if your wasted.

I think the track You Shook Me from the same album as this one will blow your mind, I'd say if you're looking for another mind blowing live performance from these guys though I'd highly recommend you check out their live Royal Albert Hall 1970 version of I can't quit you baby.

Back in the day albums were designed to be listened to from beginning to end. Significant thought went into the ordering of the songs. Zeppelin was one of the bands that shifted the standard format from singles to albums (Stairway to Heaven was not released as a single in the US), forcing radio stations to adapt.

Their best, peak performance, I believe, was the Madison Square Garden performance which was included in the movie 'The Song Remains the Same'. 'Stairway to Heaven' being the hottest number they did, but they were all amazing in that movie.

Once, a long time ago I was offered a position in a very prestigious company. I knew nothing about this company but I was told the pay was good and that working for them would open other doors, so I spent the next 3 weeks learning everything I could about this organisation in order to present myself in a better light come the day of audition. Jimmy Page's Tele was a gift from another guitar great Jeff Beck. Robert Plant was only 19 years old then lol. Page and Plant would Mimic each other back and forth a lot and was the first Rock Band to do it. If you also listing to Bonham's drums he would play guitar notes in certain situations with Page back and forth as well. JPJ and Bonham what a rhythm section! they were the glue no doubt. 4 equal talents, this was not an accident.

I think the only bands I would even dare to put in the same realm is Cream or Deep Purple. Here are my suggestions from this time period: Deep Purple - Child in Time. If Ian Gillian's voice doesn't send shivers through a person's soul then they should check that they have one!!! This is Cream in their farewell concert in 1968 performing White Room.
