Anne Boleyn was set up because Henry wanted to marry Jane Seymour, who would give him the Male heir he craved, at the cost of her own life. Rumour has it Jane was already pregnant when Henry married her. It’s ironic that Anne’s daughter was one of our greatest monarchs, Elizabeth 1st.

Yes, she, Anne, deserved a great amount of honor and respect that she never received. Did her job expertly as a wife, and was murdered and blasphemed for it. Yet, history proved her a total success in Elizabeth 1st.

I went to the tower ten years ago, I don't recall all the animals sculptures in the grounds, or that fantastic dragon, Definitely worth going places later in the day we went to British museum late on, only way to see the Egyptian room without a mass of people, it's open late and was free, certainly worth a look, London has so much to see, Great vlog and great you got to film the tower and armour for those who can't get there

I hope to one day visit London when I'm able to visit GB again. I spent 2 weeks in Wales a few years ago, and was blown away by the natural beauty of Wales, as well as the castles and the Druid burial sites Walking through castles that were built before Christopher Columbus set sail to America is truly amazing, as well as the engineering of the castles that have withstood for centuries. I didn't realize Wales is smaller (8,022, sq. miles) than the state of New Jersey (8,721 sq. miles), but has over 600 castles. I'll be glad when things go back to normal after the pandemic, and the borders become less restrictive.

I love visiting the Tower of London! The history & stories are mind blowing. The Crown Jewels are amazing & that wee court w/the beautiful grounds, a dream. Staff actually live there however, if they do go out they must be back in by 10pm. Or time to get a room somewhere! Sounds fine by me... Where do I sign up! I'd love to live in that magical & probably very haunted place! Great vlog, brings back loads of great memories.... And a sadness as I might not be able to go back anytime soon! Thanks Jordan! Btw, the best fish & chips are in Scotland believe it or not. I've tried many times in both London & Scotland (especially Greyfriars Bobby Pub, touristy I know but excellent fish & chips.... & smashed peas are to die for). Worth the try if you ever get there!

According to my genealogy I'm related to Anne Boleyn on my mother's side. She was reportedly beheaded and accused of being a witch by Henry because she had six fingers and was using her witchcraft to deny Henry a male heir not because she was unfaithful though Henry had repeatedly attempted to have her set up to appear to be an adulteress but failed each time. If she were executed for unfaithfulness to the king she wouldn't have been allowed to buried in the chapel. Marital unfaithfulness to a Monarch was considered a crime that was a form of treason.
@tdotjazzberryram615 жыл бұрын
Anne didn't cheat on Henry, trumped up charges to divorce her, one reason, she didn't give birth to a son and she had several miscarriages. The child she did carry successfully became Elizabeth the First, Queen Bess, the "virgin queen" of which the Elizabethan era is named. Henry liked Anne when she was a worldly woman a challenge. But married to her, her education and intelligence ,that needed to be, well, suppressed .
