I always enjoy your VLOGS -- but just a small correction on this one. The "Face of Elvis" on the chimney was not painted on. It was actually a metal framework that was attached to the chimney -- and created by a local artist. The couple that owned the house (after the Japanese man) were friends of mine -- and thus -- I have been in the house many times. I was also there the day Larry Geller (Elvis's personal hairdresser) dropped by. He told us a few stories of when he was at the house with Elvis. Larry also said that he had to borrow some lady's black mascara -- because Elvis's gray roots were showing as he laid in the casket. So he touched up Elvis's roots with a borrowed mascara stick. This also put him (Larry) in a position to be the last one to touch Elvis -- as they were closing the lid of his casket for the last time. The two windows (on the left of the front door) and on either side of the chimney -- belong to the living room (which is where Elvis recorded the nine songs for RCA). The windows to the right of the door belong to the bedrooms. Elvis and Priscilla's bedroom was at the far end of the right side of the house. The nest set of windows (after the living room windows) were the dining room and the kitchen windows. The last window at the far end of the left side of the house -- was the room his body guards stayed in. The room that Elvis added on to the house was on the other side (in the back) and did include the two bathrooms that Jordan mentioned. They were side by side next to a sauna. One was Elvis's private bathroom -- and the other one was for his guest(s). Both bathrooms were tiled with very red shinny tiles. In the back yard on the pool deck -- was a fountain that Priscilla had custom-made as a birthday present for Elvis back in 1971 (if my memory serves me right. I actually have a few tiles (about the size of a quarter) from that fountain. I had one mounted into a silver necklace for an old girlfriend. Also, speaking of the pool -- Elvis originally had the cement decking around the pool covered with red "in-door/outdoor" carpet. There was also a private meditation garden behind the house. I was also in the jacuzzi (spa) that Elvis had built off to the left side of the house (and behind the garage. He did indeed have it enclosed for privacy reasons. The last time I was in the house -- was for Thanksgiving dinner -- probably back in 2012 or 2013.

Hey Jordan my name is Rodney Bowman back in the late 70s I got to go to Graceland n just a few days before a woman fell off the curb inside the gate n they weren’t letting anyone pass the gates so I decided to go back to my car n as I was unlocking my door I heard a motor behind me n then got a tap on my shoulder n heard a very recognizable voice say hi how you doing n I turned to be face to face with Elvis on his motor cycle then he took off towards the driveway n they knew he was coming because they opened the gates n he went in without stopping I have to say it was the best day of my life sorry so long but wow I’ll never forget it I’m now 62 n still love Elvis

Hi I actually did a service in that home we set up a pool table in there back garage it was more of lunch area for the guest for the museum I believe the table was custom made with Elvis logo printed on the fabric I seen the jacuzzi and most of the stuff at the home we we weren't allowed to take any pictures or video but I did take a photo of the table thought I shared this nice video I'll subscribe

You stated that Elvis recorded 9 songs while living in this home. It is said that Elvis recorded 711 original songs and many re-recordings of some songs. Maybe he actually recorded those 9 songs on property here? It is hard for me to picture a 2nd Elvis home because of the Iconic Graceland in Memphis. Once on a business trip I checked into a motel across the Street from Graceland and I was disappointed to find out that the tours for the day ended in an hour or less. Not near enough time to do the tour I was told. Someday I will go there definitely on my bucket list.

I don’t understand what the big deal was in Palm Springs either. To me, it suggests none of its inhabitants were really making what people thought, but that they made big money for others who would live on the ocean, etc. There’s so many beautiful areas in CA. Their club was either doing something there, hiding out, or it was a status symbol to them because there they could have more.

Wow Jordan , this is the first time I've gotten to see this vlog about Elivs' other house in California . I never knew about all of this information . That was very interesting . I wonder if Priscilla might have sold this house to come up with the money to redecorate Graceland back to its original style when she lived there and I wonder if the money went toward​ the back taxes on Graceland that hadn't been paid ? I heard that Elivs owed taxes on Graceland when he died . Plus that might be how she was able to open Graceland up to the public . I hope that made sense . LOL !! Who knows ....!! It was just a thought . I really liked the spider Volkswagen too . We have an old orange Volkswagen . My husband has been trying to sell it . To be honest , I really don't think he wants to sell it though . lol !!

hi Jordan yeah sometime between the late 90s and early 2000s the house was owned by the son of DJ Fontana....elvis' early days drummer the house was in foreclosure under Fontana and it made the news in the local paper the desert sun ....check it out...also too the honeymoon hideaway is on ladera cir. not to far away from this house in the las palmas tract of Palm spgs
