President Carter was a great man. I believe he always wanted to do what he thought was right. He was also a Sunday school teacher at Plains Baptist Church for many years. The Allman Brothers did a benefit concert for President Carter. When he ran for President I voted for him because he was from my state. I was 18 and it was my first time to vote. That was the only time I voted Democrat. I believe he really cared about people. Thank you Jordan. Much respect to President Carter .

Its sad of how his term in office is looked at. He was the kind of President as a country we should be proud of. Deacent human. Good people. Well done Jordin. 🇺🇸✌️🎇

Media was to blame for that, same as ever hey? However we the average people loved him and didn't care how he was portrayed, and hey I'm an Aussie, 16 when he became President. He had integrity, show me another President before or since who not only said he was a Christian but also conducted himself as one?

Many thanks Jordan for this interesting, informative and entertaining broadcast. I believe that the measure of the man should not be dependent on his time in office alone, but by his overall character. After watching this first instalment, I get the impression that President Carter is possibly amongst the best of them. Really looking forward to the second instalment. Once again, many thanks Jordan for all these great vlogs.

I admire President Carter. He and Rosalyn did a lot to bring decency and honesty to America. No wonder the politicians in Washington DC didn't like him. However, the common people of the world love them.

My family moved to Georgia when I was a small child during Carter's governorship. He was a wonderful governor & an incredible human being. Following his example, I volunteered building houses for Habitat for Humanity - especially in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. Apparently, this put me on the Carters' radar because a few years ago, I received a holiday card from Mr. Jimmy & Miss Rosalynn. It is one of my most treasured possessions.

That's real cool Jordan. I've never been down to Plains GA. before to see where the Carter family lives. I've always thought they were very good people. I'm sorry to hear that Mr. Carter is in hospice. Jordan, my mom used to work for a lady named Jessie Harris and her husband was Hubert Harris. They were real good friends with the Carter family. Ms. Harris and her family used to live in Atlanta and her husband Mr. Harris was a president for a bank. They moved back to the Harris farm in Campton GA. in the mid 80's. They built a big brick house with white columns off hwy 11 in Campton GA., but poor Mr. Harris died while they were building the house. Ms. Harris had pictures of her family and the Carter family in the Hallway of her home. I believe Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter only visited Ms. Harris once while she lived in Campton. My mom took care of Ms. Harris for many years. She took care of her until she passed away. So, if you ever go through Campton GA. and see that big brick house up on a hill off hwy 11 in Campton GA., you'll know that they used to be good friends with the Carter family. I can't wait to see part 2. 😊
