The margin of the winner in WSL hasn't been more than 2 points since 18/19. Meanwhile, Barca has won with 10-25 point margins most of those years

This drubbing is mainly due to Barca women's physical superiority on the pitch. That is one of the major reasons behind their dominance in the Spanish league. Problem starts with the battle tanks in rugby playing teams from other Euro leagues in UWCL.

@@krockdesu Didn't look like that against Chelsea (1st game) & Lyon along with Benfica (away), Frankfurt (away) & Brann (away). Physicality of these teams was an issue. Plus Barca's creativity of 2020 & 2021 has reduced considerably over past 2 seasons. Ironically, they won UWCL in these last 2 seasons but with scrappy football instead of the expected fluid dominance.

@@MrSudeepdas You don’t need amazing football to win the UWCL You just need to be superior to your rival Barça was superior over 2 Legs to Chelsea (Chelsea literally only played the first half of the First Leg and the Second Half was parking the bus, and the second leg was Chelsea protecting their narrow lead until Aitana carved them open) Barça was superior to Lyon in the final even though Lyon didn’t play a bad game, but Barça was superior. Defended Better and created more clear cut chances while Lyon only could create Half Chances. Benfica away was the last game of the GS and Barça girls didn’t care about that game and Benfica played that game like it was a Champions League final. Barça Overcame Frankfurt away after a slow first half. And Brann away was Barça attacking dozens of times but having issues finishing plus the Weather was unbearable (and either way won) While Barça creativity might have decreased a little compared to previous seasons, they still have managed to score dozens of goals and have actually won the UWCL in the previous 2 seasons thanks to their Improved Mentality. You don’t come back for 2-0 down in a UWCL final or Beat Lyon for the first time (while keeping a Clean sheet) if you aren’t a Great Team. While Barça are definitely superior to the rest of Liga F teams (hence the thrashings) there is a reason they are 3 Time UWCL holders in the past 4 years

@@krockdesu We differ in our appreciation of football it seems. To me the process is very important. Ever since Alexia injured her ACL, the holy trinity of Alexia, Patri & Aitana got disrupted. Jenni left due to lack of physicality. Thus ending her telepathic connection with Alexia which was instrumental for the fluidity that defined Barca Femeni. CGH on the right wing, who forms the other half of Barca brain, got overloaded in last 2 years. I grew up with Brazil '82 - that midfield of Zico, Socrates, Falcao & Eder - who believed in Jogo Bonito aka beautiful game. If my opponent scores 3 then its my duty to score not only 5 goals but 5 exquisite goals. For a short while from 2020 to 2021, Alexia, Patri, Aitana, CGH, Lieke & Jenni took me back to Espana 82, when across 6 matches the Seleção Canarinho thrilled millions of neutrals like me all over the world. They didn't win the cup but changed football for people like me. Just like Cruyff's Holland in 1974.

Despite scoring 2 goals and 1 assist, this is one of the worst games for Alexia. Should've been subbed earlier in the game. There should be a fair competition so that she will go back to her prime.
