Wow! Long video, I'm in for a treat! Love to see content like this that covers positioning. Because aim is on side of the battle, positioning is the underdog in winning fights.
@billraimond27553 жыл бұрын
Couldn't agree more. It's easier to forget to be mindful of positioning. Aim is easier to learn and train but positioning and geometry is more towards awareness and game sense
@dustinb10703 жыл бұрын
Yeah it's actually how I break down what to work on when I'm dying in fps games. Am I hitting shots? No practice aim. Am I hitting shots and still losing the fight? I need to set myself up better for fights.

Very helpful video. Thank you. But may I suggest to tweak the "Do not peek the same angle twice" mantra a little to something like "Avoid predictable peeking"? When you are behind a cover that only allows you to play the x-axis, strictly following the former will start working against you.

9:56 - Plot twist, he didn't cut himself out coughing. Thanks for this. It helps refresh what I already know about Positioning. It's nice how you include you own mistakes as examples. Keep up the good work

i noticed after 13 seasons that my problem in fights was positioning, i was always cornering myself and i always assumed it was my aim, so i did nothing but train aim and movement for the longest time. and it literally took a random teammate to tell me my positioning is total ass to break through to me. expect to see me in some master lobbies now 😈

This was really helpful. Something I never really take into consideration is making my hit box small so I end up getting fried very often. I’ll try to be more mindful of the cover I’m near and making myself a harder target to hit

This was so helpful. As a pretty new Apex player, I have often lamented out loud that I wish I could see the kill cam on me cuz I thought I was behind cover but they beamed me. This really showed me how much is exposed behind "cover" if the positioning isnt right.
