£28 plus £17.95 for parking, mate. They bleed you dry. The books were way over priced also. You had to really dig and know your stuff to get some deals.

I used to love he original MCM Birmingham shows back in the late 90s early 2000s, As a kid I would spend all my pocket money on Captain America back issues.

They just aren't the same anymore, mate. They are all about cosplay and pops. I do much better at car boots and antique stores these days.

They’re not comicons anymore unfortunately they’re just Cons….. Thanks for taking the time to show us around… I’ll be at the London comic mart this Sunday 10th, at least there’s a few comic vendors there, but they’re becoming fewer all the time

Not sure if your speaking about the same guy, but there is a Paul Kelly who has been setting up and running the recent Newport comic marts. He's a really nice bloke.

That's my local show. To be honest would not pay 28 quid admission just not worth it now like you say hardly any comics.

Only 4 main sellers. Only one was reasonably priced. Add in the £17.95 for the parking and you really have to know your books to come away up.
