And I’m glad to hear you talking about support builds alongside the carry builds, since most folks I hear talking about him are just talking about non-support builds on him. Also glad to see a lot of the things I’ve narrowed toward in my 2.7K support Dazzle matches lines up with what you have detailed here. Great video overall!

Nice video! I would like to spam dazzle in my 3-4k grind, but I'm a bit sad that he does not have the kit to check high ground vision easily which I prioritize in a support (think of vengeful, disruptor, CM). Would like to ask how do you play around this?

It is unfortunately one of the downsides of the hero. The only reliable way is to have your courier check it or to walk close around the cliff to check it (doesn’t work on all cliffs though). Otherwise it’s relying on pinging it so your teammates with abilities can check it. From replays I’ve watched of very high mmr players, they constantly use their courier to have it ready for high ground ward checks so that is something I am working towards.

On core dazzle I've always gone shard before octarine core; can you elaborate on why octarine first might be better?

It all comes down to which one you need more in the next team fight. I find that it most games, I need to be outputting more damage/heal so I leave the disables to my supports (hopefully). If my teammates don’t have control spells, then I’ll get the shard earlier. So it’s a team-dependent decision but most of the time, I’ll go octarine first. The perma-grave in team fights is just too good for me as a core. :)

@@NeneDazzle Totally fair; I'll start thinking about team comp when deciding. I just really like fighting aggressively around the aghs timing and a cheap shard keeps that window open a little longer.
