If your fire line broke it could be that one of your crystals had a sharp inside. The fire line is normally very secure and is one of the only beading threads I will use. If you use the same crystals you may want to double your fireline or go to a large diameteter thread.

Love like this ring and YOUR projects. I have been using half tiles for all the bands or most, anyway, as they are much more comfortable for me. Some with permanent sizes some with stretchy bands. Whatever works, right? Thanks for your great teaching style, too, it really helps me learn.

the only thing I do different, is when I close out the band, I take both needles thru that last bicone and then take the thread ends thru to the back of the ring top and then tie them off. that way you don't have any knots showing.

Kelly, you mentioned being able to substitute bicones for the montee in the center (15:48 in the video). I don't have any montees on hand. Can you tell me how many bicones would be used, what size, and in what configuration? Would you use: A) just one large bicone, and thread only one direction, ignoring the thread that crosses (if so, could you use any large bead)? Or, B) would you use four bicones in a star shape like this? /\ \/ < > < > /\ \/ P.S. I love your designs!

I love your tutorials, easy to understand. One thing I really appreciate and it's something rather nitpicky, but something that really gets to me. You always have clean and manicured fingernails!!! It really turns me off to try and watch someones tutorials and they have dirty and/or ragged fingernails. Or those honking long things that I do not understand how they can bead with them. !!!
