The officiating was poor but it didn't benefit one team more than the other in the end. The Wolves penalty shout would've been a very soft penalty, and the shirt pull would have been a very soft foul, neither worth carrying on about like your manager did. Agree with your analysis on the defending though for 2nd and 3rd.

Great vlog again Dave. Know the decisions are frustrating, but in a way it did level out. Dawson was lucky not to see red, and Jonny's sending off was right. Defending though was a shambles. That's the most worrying thing. 1 last thing. With all the refereeing and var issues recently, did you notice where Howard Webb was yesterday. Was at Rotherham v Cardiff, helping to decide whether the game should be abandoned, due to downpour and waterlogged pitch. Says it all.

Listen to any post match on the game and the ref didn’t get much wrong. If anything Dawson was a lucky lad to be on the field hence why he was taken off at half time. red card 100% right , didn’t think there was enough in the pen claim we had stone wall pen not given against your at elland road when Sa punched our player. 4th goal play to whistle Wolves didn’t not going to change the result.

For the last goal, it's not a foul and your players just stopping is their own fault, Dawson could arguably have walked the red is 100% a red, penalty was unclear wether firpo touched the ball or not even with var (would have been harsh if given imo). I think the ref and var got every decision correct and if wolves had taken their chances and won the game (you absolutely battered us) you wouldn't even be talking about "bad decisions" best day out I've had This year thanks for the points hope you stay up 😊

I'm sure that all Leeds fans would agree that referees are poor, and every fan can point to instances that have hurt their team. I thought that Wolves were lucky not to have got more red cards, Dawson on Harrisson was borderline red, but having been given a yellow he wrestles Bamford to the ground which should have a second yellow. The reason Wolves lost yesterday was poor defending poor discipline, and it's not just the one game Wolves have the most red cards in the league by far

Jonnys no longer good enough, thats just the way it is… Cant argue with his RED though, it was a straight RED for me all day long. I think Lopetegui needs to stop tinkering so much. As a Leeds fan I feel for you about the ref's, we have been on the wrong end of bad decisions by ref's more than once this season. In all honesty! I didn't think it was a penalty...Contact if any was minimal. However saying that! I was surprised our 4th goal stood, especially when the ref went to the monitor, but your player should have played to the whistle & not stopped. Dawson was lucky to stay on the pitch for the tackle on Harrison, & I'm sure by now that you have seen the tackle by Jonny on Ailing & now agree that it was a red card. Not sure about the incident leading up to our 4th , the shirt pulling seems to be the norm now and if it hadn’t led to a goal , it wouldn’t have been such a talking point , though as a Leeds fan I fully expected it to be disallowed ! and maybe a different ref would have disallowed it , and likewise with the penalty claim . The pen shout, I've seen them given, but it was very, very soft, not a clear pen in my eyes. Dawson was lucky not to get back to back yellows in the first half too. The refs are poor in the prem, yes, but you can't blame them for everything. Was it the refs fault that Ayling was left at the back post for a free header? Was it the refs fault that Adama basically stopped playing? Every team gets bad decisions, well maybe not man utd, but can't just blame the ref all the time.

Newcastle the week before at 0-0 pen and a red on pope Howard Webb coming to moline to apologise. the 3rd goal v Liverpool in the cup rule out as they list a camera angle. pen v forest when the guy too cunhas boot off and other so it was kinda a buildup of all those things to that point.

I agree Dave, PL refereeing is shocking. Leeds have been on the receiving end of it since the came back up. But I'm sorry, there's no conspiracy. How many times should Leeds have been awarded penalties that never came, or not benefited from an opposition red card? You just have to suck it up fella. Wolves are where they are for a reason - not scoring and in this instance wasting a pile of chances. Didn't understand your managers decision to remove your most creative and threatening player (Neves) whilst you were in the ascendency. For a change, Leeds were clinical with their finishing. Look at the match stats, 4 shots on target, 4 goals. Dawson should have been off in the first half for a) dragging Bamford to the ground when he'd received a yellow card only minutes previously or b) his studs out lunge at Harrison. Either one was enough. That lunge at Harrison and likewise Otto's on Ayling were both disgraceful challenges. And 'built like a brick s..house' Traore getting his shirt tugged by a little tiddler like Summerville?? Come on... Wolves players would never indulge in shirt pulling, or diving, or rolling round on the floor, or time wasting, would they? They're notorious for it. The ref called most of the game correctly imo.dawson should have been sent off for the Harrison challenge alone never mind that he virtually pulled Bamfords top of after being booked in the penalty area.there is no conspiracy against wolves regarding refs or VAR at all.i like your passion but if you go 0-3 down to a team in 19th on the day ....after scoring only 22 goals all season you can't blame that on referee decisions at all. for some clarity the frustration on the last goal was due to multiple decisions over the last 2 months going against us. Newcastle the week before at 0-0 pen and a red on pope Howard Webb coming to moline to apologise. the 3rd goal v Liverpool in the cup rule out as they list a camera angle. pen v forest when the guy too cunhas boot off and other so it was kinda a buildup of all those things to that point.

Oh dear young David its difficult to keep the faith right now, Wolves were victims again of the now Pandemic of poor officiating decisions. But we also stuffed ourselves with school boy defending and multiple failures in the opposition’s box. JL’s team needs a visit from an anger management coach to. Think most would agree that you cannot build a team whilst in a relegation battle. They should have binned Lage before the season started we were already taking on water then and now a capsize looks ominous. On todays performance I cannot see us getting anything at the city ground, Forrest will be right up for it, wind Wolves up like a top, then poor discipline will prevail and will have another game similar to this Leeds game. 🐺🐺

As a Leeds fan I would say Dave that Wolves had the better play , certainly in terms of possession, but a combination of poor finishing and Leeds hung ho defending kept you out mostly at our end while the goal scoring gods and poor defending let us in at your end. To be fair a spirited come back from Wolves had I would say all Leeds fans in near heart attack mode to the end. I would level criticism against your manager though he's seen a couple of unnecessary reds just because in my opinion he underestimated Leeds and could not accept some of the decisions ala Fulham.

Traore just a big fairy, muscled off the ball by Summervile who is 9 stone soaking wet , it was also in the 96th minute with less than a minute to go, I appreciate your frustration but you really are clutching at straws there, if you want someone to blame look no further than your defence, the ref didn't score four goals for Leeds !!.

PS, as for the time wasting and the ref. There should have been far more time added on at the end of the first than there was (2 mins, when a leeds free kick alone took at least that to take). 2nd half 7 minutes of injury time only about 2 minutes of that was active football the referee wasted the rest looking at the monitor or talking to the bench. Surely it is time for an active game clock the whole stadium can see and take time keeping out of the hands of the weak referees?

@@jodylufc4481 dawson had to go for that ball due to the slip, therefore, I do not feel there was any intent to harm or it was unduly reckless. I do not doubt that your lad was hurt so a foul and a yellow was correct. What about the time? stoppages in the first half were far more than the two minutes added and as for the 7 at the end only about two were actuall played the rest was lost in stoppages.

@@davidgroom980 We had the same with Cooper last year, cooper got the ball and then the man. It was a straight red. In this instance Dawson misses the ball and goes studs up at pace into Harrison's shin causing the need for stiches at half time. No intent to pull out after missing the ball. Even if there was no intent on the player it's a wreckless challenge studs up, straight red.

look, the referee was a joke again and there is something going on here. However, lets put that aside for now, as the reason we lost was J-LO!! He keeps getting the starting XI wrong. we start with an isolated striker then change to a better formation in the 2nd. Why must we keep persisting with this ridiculous tactic? I think it was Einstein who said if you keep doing the same thing and expect a different outcome you're an idiot. Also he changes lots of players every week; so how do you expect them to get used to playing together? Some of the selections are baffling. Neto was rubbish in the first half v spurs and then he's back in the side? Otto's selection over Ryan, how is that happening? and Ryan not even on the bench? Perhaps they should spend a little more time practicing corners rather than these ridiculous silly short goal kicks? We might not be letting goal number 2 in then. Pundits on Sky & MOTD all agreed Wolves had nothing to complain about. Dawson should have seen red in first half (they knew it, that's why they subbed him). Definitely no penalty against Firpo, didn't have it under control, went looking for it. Traore is built like a brick out house, gets a little tug on his shirt (like Bamford did against him first half...and arm around his neck), both not given. Traore unprofessional, stopped playing, Rodrigo didn't ......put the ball in the net and argue later. Ps+ Can't believe they'll appeal that potentially career ending, David Busst like red.
