​@@jerrywhite8915 how? the closest comparison i can see between unknown and singularity power-wise is that the survivors have a purple goop(?) like substance attached to them? but even thats kind of a stretch... although you could argue unknown takes aspects from other killers, like on-demand hag teleports that are ALSO doctor hallucinations, and a throwing ability similar to clown bottles (although these bounce and dont have a linger effect), i would argue thats the point of the killer. its an indescribable creature who's lore mostly composes of killing people and stealing their voices (and maybe identity given its body?) through consumption, it's power could be seen as a demonstration of such; it, in this case, consumed aspects of other killer's powers for use of its own. is the power original then? thats a complex question and i cant really give it a concrete answer, it just makes sense for the character given what we know

The design looks great to me personally, but i think they should rework the power and perks to incorporate the four-legged movements he has in the killer screen. Maybe a dash, or stealth, or make that mouth thing he has more like a tentacle that he can use to grab and pull survivors.

As far as visuals go, yes, definitely. But the power just feels kinda off to me, maybe it's the weird juxtaposition between the grenade launcher and the teleport, maybe it's the disparity between his visuals and power, but something just ain't working here.

@@BishopOSv03 honestly his visuals definitely could use some rework but he's just a skill-gap accompanied with a lack of blending aspects; The placebo effect of having properly "communicating" visuals to mechanics is important with a lot of players. I've watched some nasty plays with him and it's actually pretty interesting the wall bangs you can do but it needs refining. Oh and his Teleport gimmick is just about him not being seen so it can charge to spawn. They should clearly label it's statistics more but otherwise it's really strong. I like to tap my power so it delays the hallucination from spawning so I can set it up behind a wall that would force them to run into a dead zone without them just seeing it and getting rid of it so they can safely work on gens. You don't lose speed charging power so it works fairly well.

The distorted music and the crunching of the bones. It reminds me of something from those ILL teaser animations on KZbin with the very uncanny looking beings and how they move so…wrongly.

I know immersion doesn't really belong in DbD anymore, but this fella was looking like a breath of fresh horror. The last time I felt in any spooked playing the game was when the Doc still had his jumpscares, and even that was removed. Great design, wish he had something to really spook the players.

A lot of people are complaining how he doesn't crawl, but as someone who's seen survivor against him, I can say that his bipedal walking is already very creepy looking and uncanny enough. Obviously, it would've been cool if they could've somehow incorporated a crawling mode with him, but it's not really something to make such a big deal over. Besides, they probably felt that it would've been redundant with alien.

Seems like a killer than will be great at mind gaming but might fail to hit the mark competitively. Survivor counterplay for this killer is around dispelling the unknown around it by looking at it, dispelling hallucinations etc. which seems ripe to shut him down in competitive. Kind of reminds me of Pig in some ways where the goal seems to rely at least somewhat around wasting the survivors' time while being basically a stealthy M1 killer. The ability to snipe with its power and remaining unseen could be a fun avenue of skill expression and something to keep gameplay interesting though!

Every hallucination must be taken as a stand-in for the killer because the teleportation is instant. I've seen a couple crazy downs where the survivor was left no choice but abandon the loop or greed. They chose...poorly, lol.

i'm more upset that its ANOTHER 115 ranged killer. because those are so fun to play against. first we got pyramid head, then nemesis, alien, trickster got buffed to 115. and you could argue artist as well based on the technicality by ranged killer i mean the ability to down people over or through objects. its hard to tell from the video but it looks like it has a decent windup warning and cooldown after firing. as long as its not a repeat of zoning hell that was release pyramid head i think it'll be fine. especially since you can clear the debuff by looking at him.

Oh it is I tried it. Not only is it very hard to get an initial hit but In 5 seconds of chasing a survivor the status effect goes away cause the survivor looks at you. It's almost like the game WANTS you to play hit and run even tho that would offer 0 benefit

I swear the Behaviour devs ALWAYS go to face stuff now in mori's. I think they do it just for the shock value instead of having to think of something cool for a mori (the last physical one was SKULL MERCHANT and I think thats the worst one, at least the knights was decent.)
