Hello please this commands "chown -R apache storage/ chown -R apache bootstrap/cache" is not working on my macOS, it returns an error that states "chown: apache: illegal user name". i think i am using Nginx on my mac. How do i run the command using Nginx

Laravel storage folder permission Go to the root of your Laravel installation (where composer. ... Change the owning user and group, where yourusername is your username: sudo chown -R yourusername:www-data storage. ... Add the write permission for both you and the www-data group: sudo chmod -R ug+w storage. pls try this
