It caps out somewhere around 5.3k defense if u can get lucky enough to get a perfect roll edit: i managed to find the pic of my old perfect eth sacred armor stone, don't think the base defense was perfect but was in the upper end and it has 5,265 defense

You forgot to mention the coolest part - it has 16 strength allowing you to str bug it onto your merc with an andy helm. If it didnt have that you would have to clog up your entire merc build with strength jools and shit

I used to play this game and the best rune word I ever had was an eth bugged exile with like 50 extra resist. My question is what makes a rube word bugged?

Michael Benfield when you socketed a plain ethereal armor, plain eth shield, or plain eth helm using the horadric cube (not larzuk) it adds an extra defense bonus. The process is reffered to as e bugging. Hope that helps

ethereal cant be repaired in the cube. this armor was specifically made for my merc only:) and thanks for the kind words!

I've seen a lot of comments on the last couple videos I've watched about the music.. While I'm not personally a fan of this sort of stuff, I do think it adds a pretty cool, upbeat atmosphere to the finds. I wouldn't mind more voice overlays on top of it, similar to your "best loot finds february 2018" video.

i had a over 4500 def stone for some time this ladder made from a 797 sacred base ebugged until i got a lo rune. then i removed it and made a fortitude. stone is nice and all but forti is just better tbh. it still got over 3500 def and once it casts frozen armor my merc got over 11000 def and forti almost doubles the mercs dmg.
