DBS and me!

This is the first video regarding my recent DBS surgery, performed May 2021. I’ve undergone one programming session, and have a few more to go. Things still aren’t perfect, but this will show you the extremes to which the stimulator controls my symptoms. Enjoy!

Is there a limit? I'm really frightened that I'll just dial it up and up until there's a limit and I'm worst case scenario. I'm so scared of ending up like my father. He had none of these gadgets and was really a mess for a long time. I'm only 39 (diagnosed Parkinson's) and the jiggles have started on my right side, wrist and fingers mostly.
