@@grizzlycharizard0017 GT doesn’t have a good story it’s horrible, the Black star DB arc is the worst DB Thing I’ve ever seen, it’s repetitive, bad writing and boring Baby arc is actually pretty good I really enjoyed it and it had an actual good story The Super 17 arc is horrible and boring and the whole “arc” is just a couple of episodes The Black star DB Arc has an amazing idea just bad execution I mean pan and goku do the same thing for 4 episodes straight until nova, and even then this arc drags but the ending is great, and the Music of GT might just be my favorite. “Memorable characters” the only characters that would be are Baby, Omega, and Goku, Vegeta, Gogeta GT does a horrible job of using its side characters I Love GT but it’s not a good show 5/10

Apparently Zamasu, also don't get me started on the TOP arc or the Moro arc, also their version of End of Z is complete shit, Gohan Super Saiyan Man was ruined by Goten and Trunks.

DBS narratively shot itself in the foot by giving SSG the most impressive feat for Goku in the franchise's history. When Beast Gohan killed Cell or when Goku killed Moro, it felt like nothing because they're still ants to beerus. SSJ4 Goku punching a hole through Omega was impressive cus we know he's the strongest unfused character in GT and similarly gohan toying with buu was impressive because Super Buu was the strongest unfused character in Z before gohan got the boost.

Essentially in my opinion Dragon Ball super is what killed Dragon Ball With poor writing character development and completely blows power scaling out the window. Me take that fight with Goku and beerus at the beginning of Dragon Ball super it's well known as fact that beerus how do you 70% of his power on a Super Saiyan God Goku so technically beerus have been left behind a long time ago as far as power I mean even kale jiren or Broly should be able to defeat beerus at this point. And even the god forms don't make any sense when it comes to the Saiyan biology I mean Super Saiyan God just looks like a normal saiyan form with God Ki so technically Super Saiyan God should be just saiyan god And Super Saiyan blue should officially have been called Super Saiyan God because it's the transform state of the Saiyan form with blue hair color but you think those writers would ever give that much of a thought when naming the forms. I mean I've never seen so many transformations in my life of watching anime as I have in Dragon Ball super in so many of these Transformations are just useless and don't have any time to shine at the appropriate time that they should have been introduced before the quickly replace by another I mean back in Dragon Ball Z and in GT yeah they may have had newer transformations but the head substance and their time to shine when it was appropriate for the writing and there was build up for these new transformations. But at the end of the day Dragon Ball super is a hollowed out part of the franchise that I will never see as part of the original continuity.

I understand and I’m fine with your opinion but some of these things you’re saying are wrong? With the Goku making beerus use 70% was only stated in the Movie? So saying Kale and Broly could beat Beerus is invalid as that scale of 70% was only stated for the “Z” Movie not the super anime and if anything beerus was just lying 🤷‍♂️ And with the Super Saiyan god names and such sure I guess🤷‍♂️ Yes there are a lot of New forms and some don’t even matter in the grand scheme of things but to act like Z and GT are innocent of this is invalid I mean Super Saiyan 1 is made worse by the introduction of Trunks and especially Super Saiyan 2 all it did was defeat cell and it gets quickly outshined by SSJ3 which is an actually useless form, ultimate and fusion, not to mention all of Friezas forms etc For GT super baby 1 Doesn’t shine at all, Majuub does barley anything especially after the baby arc etc And it’s fine if you don’t see it as part of the continuity even though it is and it’s fine if you don’t like it or hate it but some of your complaints don’t make much sense especially the Beerus and God name ones?

@@shanepoole527 Yes it did do massive damage to Goku’s character (and the universe as a whole) but if Dragon Ball was truly dead it would be clear without a shadow of a doubt, as with the case of Disney Star Wars and how badly they destroyed that franchise. @@KVI76 okay first off man beerus was not lying because he never told Goku Daddy had to use 70% of his power that was a statement by Whis beerus's attendant and he would not lie either there would be no reason to and the fact that beerus had to use 10% of his power on a Super Saiyan 2 rage Vegeta as well no lying. And I know show me Dragon Ball fans love to count the Battle of God's movie as Canon and part of the original continuity so if you discredit the 70% of beerus then you have to discredit the whole entire movie even its power feeds which has we all know the movies had broken power feeds that would make the anime even weaker. And I'm about to give you a knowledge check about the timeline of things when it comes Dragon Ball Z there was the Saiyan Saga Frieza Saga cell Saga then the Majin Buu saga now we all know that beerus is life is linked to the Supreme Kai now think about this for a moment Bibidi was using Kid Buu to cause Mass havoc in Universe 7 to a Biblical scale even going as far as killing the Supreme Kai's so there is only two outcomes that would happen beerus would not be in Dragon Ball super due to indirectly being killed by Kid Buu And whis would have been looking for another God of destruction part-time Dragon Ball super takes place. Or outcome number two the Majin Buu saga will not exist because beerus would have had to have destroyed Kid Buu so no Majin Buu for Goku and Vegeta to have even met therefore he would not be in Dragon Ball super. Now let's move on did the god Transformations when it comes to the saiyans I thought it was pretty clear with it any fan of figure out what I'm talking about the very first transformation of Super Saiyan God is essentially the normal transformation of a Saiyan just with God Ki that made the hair look red so this earlier forum should this be called Saiyan God. Now let's look at Super Saiyan blue which is the Super Saiyan transformation just with blue hair so this form should be called Super Saiyan God. It's not all that hard to understand and as far as the transformations in Dragon Ball Z GT they weren't wasted they had their time to shine and they had built up to them it's only Dragon Ball super at this brings up Transformations out of the blue no pun intended so man get real.

Yeah after moro arc the manga of Dragon Ball has downfall It's more like it's like you don't know what to do anymore and have brought in bad arcs, to be honest, like granola arc gas and then the whole thing with super hero in the manga, honestly, who cares about a gas or granola or which get power ups through asspull have and or a cell max just to make an unnecessary transformation at the end of the film like beast gohan which asspull his father was Dragon Ball would have worked great even without Granola and Gas and Cell Max. You could have shown what happens in Universe 6 with Caba, the promise of Vegeta and you could have shown Black Friza differently how he tries to conquer the multiverse as the main antagonist or Daishinkhan is evil theory route zarama everything that has been opened in the previous manga

Some says that dbs forms is not that many, if you will actually count all forms like states activate-deactivate things excluding only things like Cell, Frieza and Buu forms that are staples - you will indeed count that dbs have around as much new things as dbz brought, around two times more or some, dbz also shown substantional amount of forms if we count three mastering grades of super saiyan, Kaioken on itself (not the multipliers of course, they are the same Kaioken and the principle of the technique), Super Kaioken as a unique combination, Super saiyan powered by Genki Dama in 10th movie (androids 13, 14 and 15), Oozaru, else, it would be a substantional amount we can say. But you know what one of the problems is? Dbs stacks two times of dbz's amount ON TOP OF ALREADY HAVING DBZ AMOUNT.

I'm pretty it said something along the lines of " if he gets angry in a fight, no one can beat him" in some promotional material for that movie, said movie is the same movie beast Gohan appears. I can get the source if you want. It's also stated perfect cell max could " even beat broly" which is a weird thing to say when beast Gohan and orange piccolo are the stars of the movie. It's clear Toriyama sees broly(after he trains) to be the pinnacle of power

Because it doesn't matter if the writers know who is stronger. We simply look at the manga or whatever the media is and simply go by the feats and statments and thats practically it. Hell a writer can say gohan wins against goku and be wrong simply by the fact the manga goes against it. Altough i have to grant you dbs is kinda wack when it comes to its well scaling
