Xuses just a afterimage trick, if they snap vanishing behind you, don’t waste Ki and try to counter, I would suggest let the afterimage strike do the work because you can go back into the combo afterwards and it’s impossible for them to get out of the loop unless they Z counter but more than 80% of the time they will take huge amounts of damage before they realize to Z counter, so basically you can get free damage from their stupidity, especially the guys that use the huge Characters. Tip goes for everyone

Ranked mode is literally just fusion simulator with Yajirobe and afterimage spammers. Casual matches are 1000% the better mode for a game like this.

Practice the timing . Either do it faster or slower. Try and figure out which moment requires button input. Usually after the opponents attack start up. See frame data for reference

All the flaws / unfun parts of the game on full display, bad look. Afterimage being OP, Yajirobe, running five characters just to timer scam and the Z Counter fests. It was a fun experiment to treat the ranked modes like they have competitive potential but if it stays as is... yeah. BT3 community knew not to use the dumb DP system, it should be replaced with 3v3 without time limit or character restriction. Teams will still be just the strongest characters, but at least there will be more variety with how a match goes and it'll be easier to try new things that way.

They probably added the DP mess cuz they knew they made some wonky high tier characters. I don’t mind seeing a team full of the best charactersI played RB there was no restriction on people using Gogeta and Vegito on the same team and etc. It’s the system of this game that’s a problem making you have to work 100xs harder to counter the BS people brought about this game or just the damage difference between wanting to play as simply Ssj Goku in rank but you gotta deal with Ssj4 Gogeta and the typical super-tier characters who can get more damage out a combo with less hits as you even if you’re getting more hits in
