I actually like that though, waiting to use a character is an effective writing tool. You don't wanna spill all of your potential on the first few chapters. Having a proper build up for characters helps the reader ease into the story. While having to many characters share screentime make the story sloppy

Pan, Bulmas great granddaughter and Vegeta jr. everyone else is dead or passed but theres plotholes for instance pan shouldn’t look this old as she is part saiyan and as a saiyan she should age at half the rate or even less than humans for instance goku and vegeta in the real timeline now are both pushing 60 but they look mid 30s at worst and late 20s at best

One thing I didn't like about Dragon Ball Centuries is that it's literally all the same characters with different backstories. Just feels like a lack of creativity. Like, they could have made it a little less obvious that Linri is the descendant of Krillin, like give him somewhat messy long hair as a mix of Krillin's and Android 18's hair. Although, at least they had the decency to not name him "Krillin Jr."

Goku's change in ideology likely came from Popo's teachings, as there's a significant difference in his morality after his body grows to adulthood.
