They could’ve let the sword of hope actually overpower Zamasu’s immortality as a sort of metaphor, while Goku could’ve still used the button and said “Hey Zeni! I’m Goku! Are you lonely? If I directed DBZ, Hikari No Willpower would've been the OP of Cell Saga. 0:00 to 0:13 - Scene of the grave sites of Gohan and all the Z fighters. Camera pans to Trunks, who opens his eyes with a new resolve. 00:14 to 00:26 - quick montage of all the action scenes in Cell Saga, slowly getting superimposed by the Dragon Ball Z logo. 00:27 - Scene of Trunks' time machine appearing and descending towards the ground. 00:33 - 00:38 - Freeza, King Cold, and their forces standing smugly looking towards the camera. Scene splits with a cut in the middle of the screen (see what I did there?) and the new scene becomes a destructive, flaming background with silhouettes of the Androids. 00:39 to 00:51 - Trunks meets Goku and shakes his hand. The scene fills up with all members of the cast jumping in to greet Goku, then the camera shifts to the people posing stoically (Vegeta, Piccolo, and Tien) Music crescendos to chorus as this point: 01:17 to 1:21- Collective panning shot with all the Z fighters either training or sparring. 1:22 to 1:29 - Transition to Vegeta becoming a Super Saiyan and clashing with the Androids. 1:30 to 1:34 - A scene in a dark room with ragged clothes on the ground. The camera pans up, and you see a partial reveal of Cell looking menacingly towards the camera. 1:35 to 1:45 - Camera focuses on Gohan standing helplessly in tears. Then suddenly, he screams in rage and becomes a Super Saiyan. The light flashing from his transformation completely blinds out the screen. 1:46 to 2:08 - Trunks looks towards the sky. He secures the sword on his back and walks towards the distance. OP ends.
