The final two arcs that weren’t animated are arguably the best of the whole series. I hope it gets picked up. Tsuna and Enma’s fights would break the internet. They would have to address the anime only direction of the future arc though if they wanted to finish it

I really don't know about them being the "best arcs" the simon arc was definitely pretty great but the rainbow curse arc was lacking and very clearly rushed. A story of that magnitude basically came down to a tournament arc that would typically be used as fan service. I think Amano had a larger story in plan for the arcoboleno and the vindice that got pushed aside because the Manga had to finish early. I can definitely see a sort of "flash back" arc happening. The author clearly had plans for primo family, and was going to go more in depth with them but couldn't. We even got the precursor ti this with those small glimpses of memories with the shimon. I would love for a parallel to the future arc to happen, where maybe our vongola decimo family gets a real true arc with the primo family thar wasn't just the "tests" we got in the anime (that wasn't originally in the Manga anyways, even if it was considered to be Canon)

nah, Shimon Arc was kinda predictable in a sense...and the arcobaleno arc is clearly rushed. Future Arc and Varia Arc are still the best arcs

@@ulyssesglemao6783 I think the only important ones are the ones where tuna gains his guardians and where they bond you could skip condense or even update the jokes but I think the same cut the gag manga parts from the beginning get to the mokoro parts because it's needed but honestly the second half of the first season should be the beginning of the battle for the rings. Kinda wish some of the filler was canon from what I remember it was that bad and it fleshed out the world and vongola and babies/not babies

I would love to see the old arcs redone in today’s standards, and maybe a revamp of the daily life arc would benefit the series, and make it easier for new people to watch the anime. Then the buildup as they get to the future arc after a year or 2 after the reboot, hype for the un animated arcs would be insane and the internet would most likely break.

Immediately subscribed I can't believe I didn't find you sooner! Watching this made me tear up because KHR was the first anime I became heavily invested in and remains #1 on my list to this day. These key points you listed out are crucial to, as you mentioned, the possibility of KHR getting or continuing the animated series. The livelihood of an anime is based on the revenue earned through contemporary media mix platforms. Essentially various media advertising and platforms such as live show adaptations, albums, DVD sales, video games, merchandise, and private (restaurants, brands such as hello kitty which you mentionee, clothing companies, etc) and municipal partnerships to name a few. All your key points allude to majority of the contemporary media mix platforms getting check marked. This makes me super excited and now I have to look up the accounts you mentioned on Twitter. Sorry that this comment got so long! I'm just so ecstatic, pumped, and emotional from your video. Will def be checking your other videos out as well!

I feel like the best option for Reborn would be a Reboot, a continuation does seem tempting but like you said it was heavily censored so doing that would feel just like a repeat of Fairy Tail & people should remember how people reacted to that sudden darker tone/art style shift. Anyway, that aside there are also some important parts that the OG anime really either cut, moved, or just outright changed due to censorship, some of which are important to understanding certain parts of the story much better. In part I also just want to see reanimated versions of the series best fights like Tsuna vs Mukuro, Chrome vs Mammon, the Genkishi fights, and so many more plus we could finally get the 2 biggest fights from the manga. I don't actually mind of they include revamped versions of the filler either b/c as annoying as filler can be it also fleshed out certain parts of the world & even gave a bit more context to 1 of the most diabolical villains in the series so I'm all for it

I would like to add that the openings and endings of the anime have been on KZbin for years and nobody copyright striked it for years until just a few years ago. This was after Artland went under so it couldn't have been them, so that means someone does own the anime rights but we just don't know who but most likely it's Shueisha. Something is definitely going on and has been going on for years

As much as I love the original anime and would love to see the last 2 arcs animated, I honestly think a reboot would be for the best in the long run. The first 19 episodes can be an absolute slog to get through, the heavy censorship really takes a lot out of the experience and the characterization of Tsuna as a whiny coward can really be a turn off for a lot of people. A reboot could drastically trim the chaff that takes up the first few dozen episodes, reduce the amount of filler that takes up a LOT of the run time and give the characters more fleshed out personalities early on making it much more accessible for new viewers.

I agree overall, although I personally liked Tsuna's character. He's obviously meant to be a relatable protagonist due to his fear with the mafia, watching him grow up throughout the course of the series is one of the elements that kept my interest with the series for years. But yes, a reboot should be the unavoidable option given how many animes been getting tons of reboots

I related to him on a spiritual level when I started watching the show at 15 as it was just coming out and saw a lot of myself in him. Watching him grow, overcome his anxiety and self doubts as I did my own was incredible but I also know that for those who don't have a connection like that with the character it could be a stopgap for them to get in to the show. People nowadays prefer characters like Ichigo, Itadori or Denji and those protags who most would want to follow.

I was smiling the entire time as I watched this 😭❤Thank you so much for covering KHR. Your points were all so amazing, and I really love this video! (Be ready for a whole ass essay, I'm too into KHR LMAO) It's a small thing, but I've been noticing that in the replies of big Twitter accounts, there are people who are still asking for a KHR reboot, and the response to those replies has been very positive. I sent one out as well- it was actually surprising to see my notifications blowing up. The fanbase of KHR has been very active as well, with cosplayers, artists, writers (I'm one myself), people who are making covers, and just people tweeting about KHR in general. Twitter is the main place I've seen KHR activity so I might be missing some things xD Another thing worth mentioning that's pretty big is that KHR was announced for the Animate Fair in June (Animate is a store, they do a lot of campaigns and fairs like this for different series) There was also an announcement yesterday for a KHR dub from Latin America. It was very sudden and caught many of us off-guard XD But regarding the Reboot vs Continuation debates, I'd think that Reborn deserves a reboot more. With the early episodes, they would probably cut the Daily Life arc short by a little bit so they can get to the shounen. VA's would be an issue if they were trying to continue it, and due to how hyped reborn is in Japan, more new fans would be drawn to the series getting rebooted rather than a continuation so it would be fresh for all of them. Another issue with just continuing Reborn would be the censoring. They censored many scenes, including a vital scene with Yamamoto, and that scene with Yamamoto is what actually makes Tsuna's and Yamamoto's friendship come to life, and it's what makes Yamamoto more than the smiley meathead we know in the anime. It gives him a reason to follow Tsuna and to play this "Mafia Game". They also censored Reborn with actual-looking guns, Tsuna's choking scene, a lot of blood, and gokudera's underage smoking, which took a lot away from the character. So it made a lot of the fans mad (including me lol) so I guess in a reboot they would be able to fix that. At that time, censoring meant a lot, however, we literally got an uncensored version of Redo of Healer if that says anything. Now that things like Demon Slayers and more animes are out, it would draw a larger audience to KHR. All of this would draw in new fans and old fans to KHR. The last two arcs being animated would definitely break the internet as well. I still go back to read a specific fight a lot. I'm so sorry for the super long essay, my obsession for KHR meets no end I tell you😭 But honestly there is no way we can't get an announcement about KHR at this point, it's just a game of waiting for it to actually happen. KHR mangaka took care of the anime, she was the one who made the anime a little bit different from the manga. I find the original series to be fine the way it is, it also has 2 more VERY cool and interesting arcs. If the author decided to change, there's a reason, even if you're right about Yamamoto (in the manga his appearance is more significant, as well as the reason why he decides to follow Tsuna). But I agree with the censorship. For example, Gokudera in the manga lights the dynamites with the cigarettes he smokes, while in the anime they light up by magic. And comparing manga with anime, I noticed that blood in anime is reduced a lot

The series turned out the way it did because of how ti was broadcasted in Japan pretty much, at a weekly time for kids to watch. So all the recaps, censorship, pacing, and more came from that. It's been a while since I had wrote this comment, and as of now I lean more on the continuation side instead of getting a reboot. The OG series is fine the way it is, I just hope they add on to the last two arcs, take off censorship, and fill in all the plot holes and backstories that we deserve. Hears to KHR coming back!

I've been rereading the manga recently and the original anime really didn't do the source material justice. Just imagining a reboot with animation on the level of jjk or demon slayer for the mukuro or even the varia arc sounds amazing. Having the old va's return and fixing the censorship (because some of it is just sad like completely censoring yamamoto's backstory and taking away gokudera's cigarette not to mention the almost complete lack of blood and serious violence) would be a dream come true. There's said to be an event in June I believe that was either tweeted or retweeted on the twitter you mentioned. Could be some good news ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

bro i love hitman reborn so much. people have been saying im weird for loving a garbage show for quite a few years now. i would think a 2023 or 2024 reboot would be perfect. all they would have to do is remove the primo family arc, the acrobleno trials arc, and cutback on the daily lfie arc episodes a little bit after the end of the kokuyo arc and add the last 2 arcs that havent been animated yet. if they do that, then im pretty sure it would pop off.

Like everyone else, I do believe a reboot is needed. Half way through the manga, Amaño’s art style changed. And if the KHR were to be drawn in the new art style, it would draw a new generation to like it

I honestly , love The Humor of Katekyo Hitman Reborn, it was so Good and great manga and anime i think this series is the first time i ended up watching the long (203 ) episode anime that i finished watched.

This is THE anime that got me into anime. I saw a random picture of Tsuna online with his powers active and was immediately interested, it is still my favorite anime of all time and i really hope they reboot it!

To me, the most ideal ending for the reborn series will always be something similar to Naruto Shippuden's ending where Tsuna official becomes the new boss of Vongola. The current point Reborn manga ends at is more like Naruto ends itself at the point where Naruto went on to the 2 year training with Jiraiya (and we get to see none of the cool stuffs that happened later) or Bleach ends itself right after Arrancar arc finishes, which lefts a lot of mysteries to be solved and a lot more cool stories to write about.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn is getting an English dub test run festuring the likes of Chris Sabbot as Xansus, Veronica Taylor as Rebirn, etc. Some clips are up online for the core cast. I hope it can lead to a full dub coming soon.

A reboot with a shonen start instead of a comedy start would be the best, if the mangaka can add elements to the story earlier that she wanted then it would be great and having the fights to be more visually appealing to newer fans

no, it would be the umpteenth usual anime, all fighting and nothing funny, the anime is fine as it is, if anything, a continuation is better, otherwise everything would start to get boring from always seeing reboots and we will never see how the story continues and the growth of the characters.

The comedy is fine imo, it just took a little too long to start the first arc. The gag comedy episodes and storyline episodes should be properly balanced so that there isn't too much of one at once.

@@theimmortalfenix7859 I think that, in a remake, the ideal would be to leave the most necessary comedy episodes (that is, those where the characters appear and those in which we see a greater relational development between the protagonists), thus reducing the comedy episodes, but not too much. The anime is quite fine like that. As they said above, those comedy episodes are essential not only to introduce the characters, but to strengthen the bond between the members of the Vongola family

I remember watching Reborn and thinking through what felt like the first 3 or 4 seasons it was just rinse and repeat of a training arc with Reborn awakening Tsuna's powers at the end of an episode so he can fight and win. It felt so redundant that I nearly gave up. I think it was around season 5 that it felt like it actually hit its stride became good to me. I need to go rewatch it and see if I still feel the same.

I am so hyped for this. I remembered Hitman Rebonr being my first major anime/manga other than those on toonami. I even loved the future arc that people said was overly bloated. I loved the box system, the gauntlets, systema CAI and all the characters. Can't wait.

they should reboot cuz the filler in the beginning/ the original idea that it'd be a comic relief manga to full on shounen caused a lot of people to wait till mukuro n beyond to show up for the show to be interesting

KHR is a great story, one that I often return and will always love. Really hope it picks back up someday, imagine Tsuna and the gang´s powers with a more recent and evolved animation

KHR was my first true anime (Yu-Gi-Oh! was my actual first, but I can’t really count 4Kids as true anime), and I’m going to be really hyped for the future if we actually get the anime finished. I was so distraught when it stopped, but…I did kinda see it coming due to Haru’s post-show “interviews” stopping some time before. I really enjoyed those… If the show does come back, I think something like the interviews should also be a thing again. Most people just go to the next episode of an anime after the credits roll, but for KHR I always stayed for those interviews…something with as much entertainment and trivia value as that was would be amazing!

Varia Arc is by far the best, most lit and interesting arc. That’s the arc we see Lambo turn into a demon if ykyk 😅 and we also got to see what the Vongola family are made of

I wouldn't mind a reboot. Reboot or continuation I'd watch it. I just feel like it's gonna take a LONG time before we get to the final 2 arcs. Wherever you like it or not the Daily Life Arc is canon and has a lot of introductions and even some unknown foreshadowings like Kurokawa. Though I'd 100% be up to see the first bunch of arcs with better animation and possibly better pacing plus hopefully it'd attract some new comers to watch it

I've always said. Like it or not. The big three, was more of the big four. If they only released the manga in the west it have been more popular. That said, it was always my favorite along side bleach, wouldn't have Deku without No Good Sawada first.

I got into the hitman reborn series, thanks to an AMV using the "let it Rock Tiktok" music. Then I had to look deeper and follow the series. I did find it's story grew well!
