You must have been giddy to interview Jim Lee and right at the start you get him to spill the details for all the DC Access fans could know exactly where and from whom "The Professor" nickname had come...And then to have him whip out a Superman Unchained and spontaneously, without having to ask, he just starts outlining an hidden "gem" from the artwork for all to see...That must have felt awesome getting to have that segment, as great as it turned out to be, on the DC Access episode!!! GR8 JOB!!

To WB/DC's credit, they tried making films about superheroes that aren't Batman or Superman, but look at Catwoman, Green Lantern, and Jonah Hex. I understand their hesitation because no one sets out to make a bad movie and yet they're still made. Plus, Wonder Woman is the ULTIMATE FEMALE SUPERHERO. Imagine the pressure they're under to create the PERFECT WW for EVERYONE.

BatmanNews: WB prez of creative development said "Wonder Woman is an amazing character...a great opportunity both for box office success, but also to have an amazingly powerful female superhero. We are taking it all very seriously...trying to do a plan that’s respectful to those characters and maximizes the stories... everything that has been speculated are things that we’ve thought about." WB knows WW will be a financial hit, but it needs a critical hit to do justice and continue the franchise.

Yes, but at least they're really trying. It doesn't make sense when people insist WB doesn't want to do WW when it's clear to everyone from fans to Forbes that it has the potential to be a huge cash crop. Of course they're working on it. I'm just thankful they don't rush to release it and botch it up (like Gail Simone's story about a Hollywood-ized WW movie) but are actually considering how important and complex a character she is.

That he hides stuff in his art IS cool; but that's not exclusive to Superman Unchained. That wasn't specific to SU. When I see a headline (which I notice is now changed) that says "Jim Lee about Superman Unchained", I expect to be about that book specifically. Otherwise, it was just about Jim Lee. Basically, you didn't deliver what you advertised. (Kind of like...okay, exactly like all the Villain Month covers; not a single fight amongst those on the covers).
