Cool review! He used his Googles in the episode "on lethar wings"; the bat was used on "christmas with the Joker"; breathin mask wa sused in "harley and ivy" and one of the guns were used, i think, to return kirk back to his human form.

Ahhh it's a shame that they didn't have that mask of the phantasm cape that I saw advertised. But I did get this pre-ordered while it was still $35, it looks so satisfying for Batman TAS fans.

Rewatched your review after a year. After trying various combinations of all the capes and heads for months, I decided that I prefer the very angry headsculpt (with the slitted eyes) and the curved cape. The standard cape is identical to the ones from the original release and the Mask Of The Phantasm Batman and just hangs. The cloth cape looks flat and cheap. The curved cape is a much more interesting sculpt and helps give the figure some dynamism. That cape and the super angry head help set this figure apart from the previous releases. The only problem with the curved cape is that it's the heaviest so the figure tends to fall backwards because of the small feet.

This looks interesting!!!! I'm glad that they finally nailed the neutral Batman head sculpt unlike the first release one. I might just get this set and use the heads on my normal retail release animated series Batman

Hey, great review. The infrared googles are used in the first "On Leather Wings" episode when looking for evidence after the first Manbat attack.

They did end up painting the teeth on the Mask of the Phantasm Batman. They did it with the re-issue shortly after I bought mine with the no painted teeth😕. So this new one has the more accurate pointed nose, as opposed to the Phantasm one that has a lopped off nose tip.

The one you were referring to as the Phantasm one, I think that was the single carded release. I just know that after that initial one, all the mouths were painted. And I can't remember which one it was, but they also fixed the nose. Originally the tip of it was lopped off, like the one you showed off. But yeah, the standard ones don't have painted teeth because the mouth is closed.

there was only one scene in the entire series where it showed blood....the shocked face is from him seeing Harvey turn into Two-Face for the first time, "Harvey, Nooo!"

Awwwwww. I'm disappointed by the way the set turned out. I was really looking forward to it but I suspected DC Collectibles were gonna remove the big, spread-out cape as it disappeared from the later press images. And of course, they did. Mrhghghghghgh. I'm sure this was to keep the production cost at whatever relative retail price point they knew they could sell it for, but dang . . . that was the main thing I wanted. That, along with the civilian Bruce Wayne head and it looks like that's ended up kinda screwy too hahahaha. What a drag. Urhghghghgh.

I prefer japanese figures (nendoroids, figma, scultures) they have better quality paint jobs and product design overall. Most of the american designed figures ive seen seem like a rushed bootlegged made in China type quality.

I'm mad it's not $24.99 without including yet another duplicate Batman figure. For those of us who bought the single card, The Phantasm pack, The Batsignal/deluxe Batmobile set, that's 3 of these same exact figures already (Phantasm pack head also comes in this set, yet again), so with this pack that would be 4. The heads/stand/accessories should have come by themselves and included the widespread cape that was initially announced.

@jameskobe Gonzalez I feel you man, it definitely has some cool headsculpts, though the Bruce head is awful lol. Just wish it didn't come with a dupe figure again. A battle-damaged Hardac Batman fig with a Hardac head instead of the Bruce one would have been awesome

Yeah this is not 50 bucks, but if you find it on clearance or sale it might be more worth the purchase. I think the weird bent cap might be for sitting in the Batmobile? I agree on the cloth cape though... I think some of the accessories are for other figures, like the bat and (?) guns. Although I do remember Bats using that bat at one point, with Robin quipping "They don't call you Batman for nothing". Good times. I can't help but feel the Joker should have been the first expression pack, he's just better suited for it.

This is overpriced and the extra heads should have been included in the first 2 releases. They should have just made a Bruce Wayne Dick Grayson figures in a 2 pack to go along with alfred in the batcave.

Another pointless stupid gross looking figure by dc direct , i cant believe that they are so greedy , if you look closely to the figure it isnt actually accurate at all with the actual Batman from tas,what was most unique about this Batman was his ears the figure ones are just awfully shaped and sculpted they supposed to be in a form like sharks fin for example and they sculpted them like a horns,poor colors and cheap materials if they used black and navy mixed with grey would do much accurate color to the truth tas version and if they`ve used darker grey with yellow mixed with orange for the symbol and belt would do perfect version to this favorite to all Batman.I call it a crap even the articulation is cut ugly and looks like a creepy wooden toy,good review for ugly figure i`ll give you thumb up for the nice review.
