Looks like this will be my 2nd statue of Diana, the first statue I have stands about the same height too. It was the statue by Frank Cho.

Frank Cho is 12" while this ones 9" I think. Tell me if I am wrong coz this is under Cover Girls not the Designer series. I love how they sculpt this one. I love it too. Hope a 12" figure too.

Who would have thought that, after many years of Warner Bros. delaying the production of a Wonder Woman movie, now she´s the most popular/important DC character so far? On top of that, with the success of Aquaman (and in a very lesser extent Shazam), WB understood that not everything had to be Batman and Superman. Don´t get me wrong, I love Batman (and we´ll finally start having his own movies now) and Superman is Superman so we need Man of Steel 2 for yesterday...but this proved that the rest of the main Justice League members (and even other characters) can be successful. I was always complaining when the DC animated movies came out and 98% of the time were movies about Batman, Superman and the Justice League. I also really want my GL Corps movie! Hal Jordan deserves better; and, like Spot and don´t think the first movie was awful. To me it was on par with most Marvel movies. Still, not that I want to wait forver for it but the longer it takes will just make the movie better.

Quite a great looking statue. I love the pose. Her face sculpt is beautiful and her eyes look amazing. I remember trapper keepers. The way her hair is flowing looks great. Wasn't the blue darker on Gal Gadot's costume? The paint looks good on her upper chest armor but a little sloppy on the skirt. The gold paneling looks great. The lasso was done well . Jones did a great job on her depiction of Wonder Woman. Thank you Spot for the awesome review!

I just got introduced to Joelle Jones' art work only recently, despite the fact that she's been around since 2006. She has a distinct playfulness in regards to how the various DC female characters are posed. Of course, Wonder Woman isn't necessarily in a playful pose, but rather a fearsome one. DC Collectibles have once again delivered with another stellar piece. The overall statue is quite impressive. The head sculpt is very beautiful yet determined at the same time. The hair is beautifully sculpted and it has a nice sense of flow to it as it cascades over her shoulders and back. The eyes have a nice sheen to them. The muscle tone and definition are impressive. The details in the musculature are visible through the ab area of the bustier. The paint application is clean for the most part, especially when it comes to the flesh tone, red, gold, white and gunmetal grey. However, the blue is a bit on the sloppy side unfortunately, but it's the only issue that I have with the statue. There is even some slight weathering that's been added to the bustier, which is a nice touch. I love the determined pose that Wonder Woman is in. Giving the Lasso of Truth a wire frame means that there is give to it without it being fragile. The display base has the Joelle Jones signature that's become common with this line. The Wonder Woman statue is a thing of beauty and Joelle Jones' art work is captured perfectly. With that aside, thanks once again Spot for another great video. I always appreciate the hard work. Keep it up!
