*Although i did find this movie to be quite underwhelming compared to the hype of infinity war, it was a nice break from the trauma the previous movie gave us, and gave us a nice comedic relief, after what came before… If i had to rate this i’d rate it a straight 5/10 but that’s from straight rewatch so…*

Seeing Jimmy Woo here, reminds me how important the secondary character are to the connective feeling of the MCU. Seeing him again in WandaVision, for example, and that he learned the card trick, are nice little additions, that despite not having any meaningful plot impact, does carry weight to anyone following these for years.

Seeing him in WandaVision and have a much larger role made me smile like an idiot. His character is actually pretty good. He's smart and gets things done.

When Paul Rudd comes out of that school down the stairs he looks like one of those inflatables with the flailing arms...lol 🤣 Elias Starr in the comics books was known as Ant-Man villain Egghead. A mad scientist type. First appeared in Tales to Astonish #38 in December 1962. 😅

My mother is NOT a fan of the superhero movies. However, mom took my granddaughter to see AntMan, & mom LOVES it! She even was excited when AntMan & Wasp came out! Of course, she doesn't watch the other Marvel movies, but I'm just happy that she likes these movies, as do I. 🤘😁

As I've said before, I am a bigger Ant-Man fan than most and I love the Ant-Man movies! I think Bill and Ghost are really great characters because they're sympathetic to their cause and not really villains at all.

This is some nice comedic relief after Infinity War, hope you enjoy it. Also can I ask why Trin doesn’t appear on camera? Her reactions are just as pure as Robs but it could be something as simple as a little anxiety and not liking the camera. Nothing against it I’m just curious :))
@mojoriot2293 Жыл бұрын
They mentioned something about that a while back when they were reacting to LOST. I don't remember exactly why she doesn't go on camera, but I think it has something to do with not wanting to be on camera... But it was a while ago, & my memory sucks. It happens when you get old. Lol. 🤘😁

@mikey5308 I agree. If she doesn't want to go on camera, that's her choice. I'm not a fan of getting in front of cameras as well, so I get it. I do like having her in the reactions, even in audio only. She's great. I think she might be the one that edits the reactions, too... But I may be wrong about that. 🤘😁

I enjoyed this one, I liked the smaller scale story it was telling, especially after the chaos of infinity war and Paul Rudd continued to absolutely kill it as Ant Man, he’s such a damn good actor with such natural comedic talent Luis continues to be a highlight and I just really like this film a lot, all the cast are at the top of their game. Hope and Scott are such a good duo

Ant Man in the Wasp displays probably the healthiest family dynamic I’ve seen in all of marvel and I love it for that. It’s rare that you get to see an X-wife and her husband get along with her X-husband and have him still have such a close relationship with his daughter. Kind of wish stuff like this was showed more often in superhero movies.

Imagine waiting MONTHS after Infinity War, and the next MCU movie is... this one. On rewatches I think it's a fine movie, definitely not deserving of the hate it received at the time, I think the poor reception was simply due to how hungry audiences were for a continuation of the Infinity War storyline, a hunger this movie did nothing to alleviate. The same thing effected Captain Marvel too, I'm sure, as well as the lead actress having some controversial interviews at the time, but on rewatches I still think Captain Marvel is one of the poorest entries in the franchise.
@Starsaber222 Жыл бұрын
Those "controversial interviews" being her pointing out that white men aren't the target audience for every movie and that professional reviews should reflect that.
