Rode around Washington DC today to see all the barricades up around the city for the NATO Summit this week. I also saw the Secretary General and popped in to the White House for a bit.

Watching this makes me very happy that I live far far far away from DC. I live in the woods on acreage where it is very quiet and beautiful. I deal with very little bull$hit in my day to day life. I haven't watched the video yet, but I just wanted to say that the U.S. Army was just seen on I-295 in a convoy. I just saw them about 8pm tonight, July 9th 2024! It appeared to be the D.C. National Guard, but I couldn't get a good look. They were going south toward I-695, and I was going north. I wonder if they are coming downtown? They were in humvees and newer model 5 tons!
