QC issues continue to compromise the DC Multiverse line! You hate to see it!

That’s really quite odd that you experienced that, mine didn’t suffer that same qc issue and it holds the crowbar just fine, it may be that you possibly loosened the hands with the OG guns. In my opinion, this red hood wins from an aesthetic standpoint but looses in articulation to the original. The original always looked kinda like it was from an anime and IDK how it was so stylistically different from the rest of the line.

Yep, my las 3 figure split at the torso… very little glue used…had to reglue all of them

I haven't experienced the same problems as others in this comment section with breakage or QC problems. I probably have about a hundred of these figures now and the quality has been consistent throughout. What I will gripe about is the continued lack of forward crunch. This is easily fixable. I often do it myself. There's no reason that Ford McFarelane can't correct this.

Nice figure and review! About the qc though... It sucks but it's easily fixable. Just a dab of super glue in that area and it's good as new! I understand the frustration but it's one of those "non-issue" qc problems (for me). Bad paint apps, loose or extremely tight articulation and broken pegs and joints are far worse IMO. Hopefully we don't suffer from qc anymore and it's not a trend going forward

I got my Red Hood guns from the McFarlane Arsenal pack, and a couple holsters from an independent craftsman

The only qc issue I've had so far is one leg pops off easily on my Damian Wayne. I have quite a few of the recent figs, but there are some I have not opened. I'm noticing they are responsive to what the fans say. Hopefully that will be addressed. I saw another review where a Joker split at the torso like that.

At least legs and arms popping off can be quickly and easily fixed, I can get past stuff like that.

That original Red Hood is still so much better. I love the helmet mask on the original compared to this new one which looks a little too much like Deadpool. Not to mention the original has gun holsters and guns.

The QC seems to be getting worse the year 2 batman seems to a minefield. Over the past few months I'm getting heavy ML vibes from the QC which is a real shame as the quality of the plastic and build is what got me into this line

I got my fig yesterday, luckily mine didnt split like yours did. He was fun to take pics of, especially with the Rebirth Joker. I even learned how to tie a noose for the toy photography xD

@@JoshFromBefore but I can definitely relate with the qc issue on that Todd designed Batman, but that was also due to my fault, hip joints snapped on me. Hopefully they fix the issue with newer releases, especially since I’m eyeing a few (like solar suit supes, rebirth batman, reverse flash and lex Luthor, and almost any flash since I want to have like a multiverse of flashs haha

That torso break makes me angry! It’s gives me flashbacks to the late 90s McFarlane figures. I think the figures looks great but he really needs guns.

As far as I knew, that redhood was using the same parts as the original but they were shrunk and that's why it's also the shortest of the bunch.

It's the same size. It wouldn't make much sense financially to reuse the sculpt but have to cast new molds.

The torso did not come apart on my figure. His left arm did pop off. Didn't panic just put some pressure and popped it back in. Has not given me problems since.. I did purchase this figure at GameStop. Also the crowbar on mine fit nice was not loose at all. A little tight but I will take it instead of being unable to be ..

With mine i tried to move his wrist around but ended up popping out one side of the ball joint and had a job clicking them back together because of his glove cuff 😂

It might be just sour grapes sonce I was never able to locate a original Red-Hood but looking at them now the old one looks like a more realistic take of the "Batman under the Red Hood movie" but next to the 3 Jokers version it seems too cartoon-ie like the Damian Wayne Robin. The 3 Jokers looks more real world real world. Also I can't see RedHood wearing the Bat symbol on his chest. Wearing a version of his Robin makes more sense. However I've see versions where the bat symbol is upside down which makes sense too. BTW: I picked up mine at Target and had Zero problems so yours is probably a dud. I will say that I found a few Flashpoint Unmasked Batman on discount and took the guns and Holster from it and put it on my 3 jokers redhood figure and although not comic accurate the red holster and straps match perfectly and they look Soooooo good on this figure and I'll be doing the same with the Gothan Knights redhood.

I've been a big proponent of McFarlane's DC Multiverse line ever since it started, but they're starting to make me look like a chump. My Swamp Thing had excess glue that completely sealed up his bicep swivels and my Year Two Batman's left arm was broken before I took it out of the box.

haha I usually prefer my figures in one piece too. Seriously though, that's a real shame McFarlane's quality has dropped so low. These used to be such high quality figures and so much fun to pose. I've heard a lot of people having issues with their Year Two Batman. Hope your other Red Hood coming from Gamestop doesn't have any problems. I love that design of Red Hood though with the black jacket and old Robin costume underneath. Really sharp.

These are dope but I don't understand why McFarlane does hollow torso's with some of the lines,mk11 to dc looks cheap poorly made especially now since there ask for $30 now. Not all them are bad but most them are qc definitely be fixed mk11 spawn was pretty sharp I popped sob apart he's most solid but upper diaphragm ball stick is weak it should be double ball like neca other lines, probably reasons why avoid anything McFarlane does if quality ain't good I'm definitely not buying. But I've noticed he puts lot more attention into spawn universe hides stuff hopefully that line is good I grew on his earlier work,plus I'm huge into spawn but this disappointing af. cause he seems cheap out lot on this DC shit awful design choices joints etc just sayin.

That's definitely not cool son.... I mean all lines have their negatives but if it happens over and over again ... Then it's an issue... Luckily it seems like an easy fix but is still not good.. I hate how everyone is saying this Hood is better than last years... I still prefer the originals look .. this is just a different take on him....take care man...👍💀

The head is unproportioned to the rest of the body. Along with the Batman from this line
