They need to have powers like Cyborg where you can change your arm into different weapons like minguns, rocket launchers, grendae launchers, shotguns and a movement power to match where you turn into a car or motorcycle or plane or something awesome like that. that would be pretty cool.

I think smoke powers, like being able to confuse enemies by surrounding them with thick smoke, or wrapping enemies up in smoke coils and stuff like that, plus smoke powers are very different.

@bigblack077 Really if your just starting out, you can only get the electric power set, the duo will take some gear to run, since its a hard duo. And you can't even see the new city until you get like a 53 gear rating, which could take some time with casual play imo. I know lots of free to play players, that raid without legendary and balance it just right money wise. Buying the new dlc would make you premium anyway. You don't have to pay for anything in this game to enjoy it.

@KidSamurai225 They did this with the previous dlc, fight for light. And lots of people that got there respec tokens wanted to change back, after trying it out, from lantern to there first power set. This caused alot of problems with soe, they did allow people to go back to there first powerset, but its why they didn't offer it on the second dlc. You will have to start from scratch with electric for now.

I can't really answer that one,, they are all good, you should check the dcuo website for info,,, some offer more then others, gear rating limits for content and such,,,, I get them all just to try out the new power sets. Wish I could be more help.

@titman1122 Only thing I didn't like about it was the limits with the content for the 1-30 game. You have to have some decent gear to really see the content. Being able to play the electric character was still worth it though, to me.

@KevinAssassin001 Yes you get them, and if you make one of each, Lantern and lightning and decide to quit sub, you will still have those characters, just won't have access to the alerts and duo and new daily city thats in the dlc's .

@gingkapegasis Not sure how the ps3 set up is, but if you bought the dlc, then you should have access to the lightning power set at character creator, it should flag your acount.

For space powers to be honest it would be ENERGY ---> 1) Dragon Ball Z + Naruto Styles = To use Tai Chi Based Energy Moves 2) Space Style = To use Galactic Based Energy Moves 3) These are the only two ways on how to use ENERGY. 4) ENERGY will be a new power in order to create characters with the weapon brawling like from DBZ [they can both hav either Hand Blasts, Brawling, One-Handed weapons with the Power of Energy]

they should add Color DLC: 1) Change colors for Elemental Powers=Fire, Light, & Electricity only --> Static Shock, The Corps Of Light, StarFire [Teen Titans show] 2) A 4th Palette bcuz Wonder Woman & PowerGirl hav four colors bcuz of Gold in the Game 3) Extra Details to Gear --> Highlights, Head Gear, Line Patterns only 4) It should be FREE bcuz its an upgrade

there should a new power to generate like fire & lightning (maybe Earth) known as Water, cmon it will be awesome it will be the same moves with fire but different u kno the ability to blast out a tsunami from your hands & turning water into sea animals like a shark torpedo or a dolphin splash kick

oooooooooooooooooh i'm dieying to see if dcuo will produce a new power,I would like to make METAL POWERS like making metal boxes or spawning metal soldiers to assist you and actually hit more than 15 damage i mean something like 30 on each hit and making a cage to lock an enemy or making metal boxes or cars or boats and making a big steal bat and hit something like 900damage with 300 might so OP but that's not possible :CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC

They need more powers. Now that City of Heroes is gone DCUO does not have much competition anymore and i am afraid they are going to get cocky cuz they only mmo superhero game left is Champions online and it is kinda bleh. DCUO needs more powers like wind, water, darkness, space, etc. Maybe they could add powers like reality warping which could be a support or even energy manipulation(not the green lanter thingy) and maybe they could make more free powers. When they do i will be even happier

@MMOlook which cyro powers? i have like that cone freeze, pull attack obviously, the one aoe on the left side & some ice storm one i can spam which is great. I want to be more dps in the end but i like staff w/ ice after i got that storm attack. So I'll keep ice, just curious what cyro you mean and are any iconics useful? I was also trying ligh but i just can't pull off the long combos. Martial arts too is boring me. I need to combine the rifle with something, but not sure what yet.

@swifti1001 you do know until your might & level gets higher your powers will be close to your weapons damage, also did you know that at full T3 pve armor some of my moves hit harder than powers? i.e. dual wields ultra flurry attack hitting for 3100 with a critical hit on a test dummy, my only other power that can even come close to that is impaling ice which crits for 4000-5000 if the enemy is under 35% health.

i don't even like cyborg, but i must admit, your description of his powers would be fuking badass, imagine turning speeding to the fight as a ferrari, then suddenly transforming, getting down on one knee, and aiming your arm at the baddies as it transforms into a rocket launcher. hell yeah, shit would be awesome.

I tried ice but I don't like the feel of the ice powers, so if electric could provide some damage and heals... though I am not sure which powers would be ideal, that might be the way I'd go. I hate leveling 10 levels again but the cost of removing is still too high.

@skywayavenuecasper no it isn't, i've actually had a gm rank the healing powers. He said electricity (due to rescue healing, and it's HOT [heal over time], it's AOE [area of effect] healing, and it's regualr heals), then nature (because of it's HOT and regualr heals) then finally sorcery (because of it's AOE and regular heals)

@bobchillaxd btw bob hard light is tough to learn but is definitely the best dps out of all of the controller power sets, also if you learn your debuffs and cancels correctly (like how to cancel light claws or boxing gloves so you don't lunge) then you can be just as good if not better than your gadgets controller.

CoH is gone! Didn't know that! When DCUO 1st came out the CoH servers got flooded with people who would've rather played that. Guess that didn't last.... I can't believe DCUO has been out this long and it's customization is still a joke! That's the only the CO as on DCUO in my opinion

if you get the lightning powers do you have to give up the ones you already have and do you know if the voltiac pack does anything like skin what powers you already have for example having gadgets powers looking light blue electricity because of the skin other than just the weapon itself

@MMOlook I'm curious if rifle will definitely work with electric and if I can build a dps character out of it, but have some self heals even if they are minor in damage role. Like with nature, I have that one heal and it definitely works. I just don't have anything high enough to test it.

i actually wonder if electric would work with rifle, i wish the character planner was working. I want to do mostly damage, as I'll never play healer role, but if some heals work in damage role like nature has been for me, then i'd do that. I just don't know for sure if it's good with rifle.

lightning looks weak in this video. the last power he mentioned was 57 damage and thats how much Earth's level 1 power is. :/ im sticking with earth, its better in my opinion. don't get me wrong lightning is good for fighting groups

If you plan on a dps. Use a bow or staff just saying and my loadout is electrostatic surge, wired, electrocute, bio capacitor, electro bomb, and electro genisis. I use staff, sheild and dual weild they are awesome dps weapons

ya and u could create whirlpools, healing rain, and solidify water into weapons, and u should be able to turn into water and sneak past enemies. u should also be able 2 manipulate opponents by controlling their blood ect.

Does this work well with bow or are you just testing and would you recommend it? I started a nature/bow character but if electric is better, I'd switch it. I am going to use this with Martial arts probably.

@MMOlook No.... look. Powers are ment to be better than weapons. These lightning powers are rubbish. The first power I could unlock does the same damage as all of these powers you displayed. This dlc is a rip-off end off.

@MrSuperboy2002 Thats because the lvl 30 was not trying.....And before you try to argue back, there is no possible way a lvl 4 can beat a lvl 30 (on full health) while the lvl 30 is fighting back.

@Dice108 it's called electrocute and it is not a supercharge it is a last tier move located at the bottom of the amperage tree, it's similar to inferno, circle of protection or wintry tempest in damage.

wow ur weak for your level my elect toon in healer role can hit normal 45-75 dps and imat lvl 30 now and i hot a norm of 175-210 crit at lvl 17 was 110 and my crit now is 513

Its the ssorcery tree, it even has some of the same abilities even the icons look the same to me. Personally I dont think it's worth the money, but I always was underwhelmed with the powers in this game

@swifti1001 I'm not showing them in real combat, just the dummies. They do alot of damage and you can combo the skills pretty well to get some great effects and damage on mobs equal or greater in level. I respect your opinon, thats cool. But i'm having a blast with the new power set and so are alot of others ingame. Thanks for the feedback.

@captainbarbossa100 I went bow at first, but switched to hand blast. I prefer hand blast now, they seem to really go together. you can always switch because you get alot of skill points in the game. But handblast are great for Electricity Imo.

@DynamiikReflex Thx for the sub. I played bow and dual pistols on my nature. Nature has some great close combat skils. But for healing in raids it would be better for a range, so your not getting hit and taking alot of damage. Dual wield seems to be really hot atm(damage wise). Not sure how it would go with nature though. I would put some points in other weapons as you progress, and then the quest rewards will offer different weapons if you want to change out.
