I’m upset that this woman, her motherhood, was laughed at a mere couple of days before her funeral. I’m really mad about that. For all the people saying that everyone "grieves" differently, you're absolutely correct. However, what does that have to do with him saying meaningful, heartfelt words about a woman he spent almost 9 years with?!? The woman who was with him before he had two nickels to rub together. I think everyone is missing the point. It's ok that he didn't have tears streaming down his face, but what about honoring the mother of your children by saying something more than superficial BS that in no way spoke to the type of mother or woman she was. He literally stood there and gyrated about wanting more children. How F'ing tacky can you be, a complete utter 🤡

I think people are confused between what a funeral is and a CELEBRATION of life/Homegoing CELEBRATION. There is very much a difference and it’s not about who can look the saddest, although grief can overcome people at some point and time or another. It’s about honoring the memory of the transitioned loved one, comforting and enjoying the company of the loved ones that you still have, and capturing those memories because you never know when or if you’ll see them again, tomorrow is not promised for anyone. It’s also about encouraging each other to become more grounded in their faith that this is only a transition of life, having a better relationship with the higher power, etc. This is how you celebrate and send a loved one home where I come from.

Yea this situation is making me look at him real side eye. That woman was with him when he was living with ROACHES, gave him 3 kids and he didnt even cry?! His speech sounded very self serving and distant. Like he reheared and practiced it for an audience, not to be genuine to her spirit and soul.
