I bought my Proton Gen2 in 2004 until now 2024 I'm still driving it on the road. My Proton Gen2 can go to the top speed 200km. I have tested it on highway plus in 2004 and it still in good performance. Proton Gen2 good handling make me enjoy my driving.

1:58 For a car part that I use a lot to get into the car, I thought it was made of metal (even on the inside that attach the door mechanism) but it turns out to be plastic. My sister and my friends managed to break all four of those door handles. It cost a lot to replace them. I guess Proton couldn't afford to make a better door handle...still GEN 2 is a fun car to drive :)

Saya dah guna gen2 1.3 a.t dah 13 tahun..Pemanduan memang solid bila bawa jauh di highway..disc brake depan belakang..tahun ke -3 masalah bunyi dengung bila nak undur tu umpama besi bergesel..bila bawa kat servis centre..mereka cadang tukar disk brake..serta pad brake dan tayar sekali..akhirnya saya buat kat bengkel luar ..sebab kalau ikutkan kat bengkel luar masih elok tayar dan disk..mereka bersih kan caliper dan tukarkan pad brek baru.alhamdulilah sampai sekarang dah tak ada masalah bunyi dengung.

hi i have a proton GEN-2 2011 and it doesn't come with a USB port. i tried using the USB on the charger port but i couldn't access AUX mode. so may i know if it support AUX mode or not ?

Yes, AUX is supported, but you need to purchase an additional AUX cable which can be found in many online shopping stores. However, I do recommend that you ask technical assistance on installing the cable as you need to open the radio/cd player.

rpm 4000 - 6500? i only shift gear during the 2000 rpm

I think you'd need to be redlining it, but 180kmh in 3rd always sounded a little strange to me

I think it is for automatic transmission. Because Iam driving manual, usually 4rd gear at 180kmh is reasonable then 3rd gear.
