Use cases: All BC use cases are network value based. Not until there is a large network of users are value created. Bootstrapping network effect is a difficult and unpredictable to process. Even when there obvious advantage to use a BC solution (medical records, identities... the use cases are endlass, really) the solutions may not materialize as there are no means for bootstrapping the network effect. If it does appear it might take decades. You will hate this, but chances are that states and legislation will be the the mechansims that bootstraps a lot of BC use cases. EU have legislation coming around digital product passports and are working on identity solutions that are BC based. These may bootstrap BC solutions for product meta data and identitites. That in turn may bootstrap NFT based ownership, as these solutons enables ppl to take ownership of the products they have bought and are represented as NFTs. It's these bootstrapping and casading effects we are waiting for. They will happen, because BC is a superior solution pattern for all domains that involves an ecosystem of actors and information, but it may take decades.

You all are tripping. The killer use case for crypto is being able to transact 24/7 in either stables or volatiles. The icing on the cake is leverage/margin + collateral/loans. It's been here for a LONG time. If you could figure out decentralized cloud/server services/internet that would be great.

@@Michael-qc3vy This is my opinion but I think most data supports it. My guess is around 42k if things don't turn out that bad, if we get in a recession max pain I think is 25k, in a blow off top max 100k (least likely). All things considered there are no reasons other than narratives and speculation to go up into the end of the year, in that case we will crash down pretty fast. The most likely outcome is we will continue down, probably have some upside volatility in october and accelerate to the downside in november/december. We will find a bottom around december/early 2025. I am very bullish for next year but in the next months if bitcoin does as I think the majority of altcoins will dump very much and make new lows. (Not financial advice) The best thing to do is probably stick to bitcoin or dca into bitcoin and convert it into alts in 4-5 months.

@@Omarkomanin a recession price can 100% get to 25k. Now using your logic explain to me what happened in 2019, why did btc trend down all the second half of the year after rate cuts? And why did it nuke together with the stock market with covid? I have an answer, do you? Wouldn't have whales stepped in and save the game? It's the same thing in the stock market, people think the fed will not allow the market to go down (spoiler it will).
