This line is going to be one to watch this season for sure. Love the groves and tenacity. Sure does bring back some SCV 04 vibes!

YESSS, this staff knows what's up. Love the technique and style choices. Pretty clean for this point in season too

One of my dreams is to learn to play in a marching band like this😍 unfortunately I live in a place where there are no music schools with a teaching structure for marching bands like the U.S.A.😔 but I really admire the videos, if I had the opportunity to join learning from scratch, even if it's online, I would really love it and dedicate myself. Success to all marching bands.🥁👏👏🙌🙌💪😎✌

There's a lot of good info online these days that will help you learn. There's people who travel from around the world to the USA to march. Where there's a will there's a way

They always have such a warm rich sound. This is definitely the way to go on the mapex drums, they sound fantastic that way

AYE! Atlanta Quest played that same warmup in the beginning back in 2019. Love it.

The ensemble dynamic control is really good especially for june. Literally sounds like someone is moving a volume knob.

It’s SCV 2003-04 all over again. They are hunting for a trophy. I’ve been waiting for this technique to return since 09 cavies

I'm loving it too. It's nice to see old scv stuff still around.. feels like the guy who captions it was on pulse or something that did scv exercises like 9 or 10 years ago

@@alexgaeckle1540 Lots of influence for sure. Not sure what Taha Ahmed's direct connection is to those guys but Murray and Jim are consultants with Mandarins. The influence is big among them and Ben Pyles writes a great book.

@@gmiller598 me either. Had no idea who the guy was till you said Taha Ahmed.. he might have marched pulse or something. I know Murray and Jim but not Ben or Taha. Defiantly a SCV influence out there.

Taha marched SCV (2010) under Murray. and followed him to Academy in 2011

We were joking around as alumni that the corps now plays all the exercises we WISH we could have played back in the early 00s 😄

Bass 4 seems to be executing the leg pump all wrong. For some reason he’s moving both of his legs? It’s supposed to be a swift stomp of the right heel into the ground so that you can feel the time throughout your whole body. Pretty good looking though and he's completely dribble-proof

Hey @royefang9331, just a heads up: this is a bad drumline comment. *This action was performed automatically.
