I was in Chicago a few Decembers ago and the cold wind cut like a knife no matter how bundled up I was. No, I would not like that if where you live is that cold :)

I just got the 3dr solo how would you compare it vs your phantom 4. I had great experiences so far for my first drone but eventually wanna step into a p4p. Great videos

Having owned two 3DR Solo drones over the span of a year and then moving to the Phantom 4 here are my thoughts: 1. The out of box range of the P4 is 3 miles and I have been out 2.5 miles with no issues. Had to spend $400 on after market antenna and boosters to get 2 miles with the 3DR Solo. 2. Gimbal stability on the P4 is rock steady and you can hover with absolutely no movement. The Solo always had a very slight shake to it. 3. Video quality of the P4 I feel is superior to the GoPro 4. I had terrible satellite lock issues with the Solo. Took upwards of 30 minutes a few times to get a lock. Sent my Solo back and got the replacement which was better. 5. Most importantly, 3DR as a company is basically out of business for the consumer drone. You will be lucky to get any support for the 3DR Solo. I can tell you that the P4 inspires confidence and never gives me any issues when I fly. It has been a pure joy to own and fly even it extreme winds. I hope that this helps. Chasn The Wind I seen them they are beautiful. Yeah I watch tons of videos. Eventually I know I'm gonna save for a Dji product. I couldn't resist Best Buy price lol. But I know I will get one because I got a hero 4 silver and hero 5, I don't know why but I guess I'm a gear slut lol. I know Dji is ahead of the pack. Those phantom 4 and pro are incredible..
