Mona is 1000% correct. You are supposed to lotion/oil with wet skin. It locks in the moisture and keeps your skin hydrated. She probably has the softest skin!!

That picture of Rihanna all beat up is something I'll never forget. It's just burned into my memory. I'm that elephant in India on that one. Him throwing a chair out the window on GMA and Karreuche having to get a LIFETIME restraining order just adds to it. Ike and Tina had been broken up for decades and that movie came out and that was that. Ike is dead and he still gets spoken about. It just is what it is, nah no redemption. He's still getting his money and he's a star. People still pulling up to R.Kelly trials with banners. There's an audience for everyone. It's whatever.

Clearly in the black community, if violence is done again black women and young girls, we should just “let it go”. We’d consider that if the men y’all are defending weren’t repeat offenders. Saying a 21 year old man with access to wealth, psychological help, amongst other things isn’t “grown” is lazy and excuses him from accountability. Hence why he’s been able to sustain success despite continuously harming black people! And the cycles continues smh, this community needs to do better. Redemption is for individuals who make a mistake. Being a habitual, violent abuser isn’t a “mistake”

Mona it’s sad that as a woman that claims to have been thru DV before, you think Chris browns REPEATED violent offenses against WOMEN and men are excuseable. It’s a mistake if it happens ONCE, it’s a choice if you keep doing it. The same pass y’all sitting up there giving him (bc he’s famous & so coked up his brain ain’t moved past early 2000s dance moves) is the same pass that’s been putting the battery in his back to CONTINUE to be violent. It’s like cops k*lling us: they know they’ll be forgiven by their peers, there’s no repercussion, so why not k*ll a nigga or two? Y’all really shoulda did your research and developed your opinions on this topic before coming on this huge platform excusing and promoting the disregard of victims experiences if their abuser has money and/or power 🤷🏽‍♀️

Then when talking about the DM they read Phelps says "people be making these beds and gotta lay in them" but Chris Brown don't have to lay in his? And the entire time I'm thinking to myself, "If somebody does her daughter the way Chris did those women, she would never forgive the man and probably try to kill him" and rightfully so... but it's easy to forgive and forget when it doesn't affect you personally but it should never be that way. You shouldn't have to ask "what if that happened to me or somebody I love" in order for you to care. Very disappointing episode.

I’m really shocked at Dre’s response to abuse when y’all talked about Chris. It’s disgusting how y’all dismiss people’s abuse because he can dance and can make the same damn song 35 times. Please. He’s not that talented. People want to give him a break when he’s repeatedly shown signs of abuse. It wasn’t just the Rihanna situation when he was 19. Bro even lied saying it happened when he was 17. Bro literally had a restraining order on him that expired THIS YEAR for his ex Karrueche that we all saw him stalk and harass in public. He also beat her up. Only person that forgave him was Rihanna. Dude went to prison for assaulting a fan, was on probation for assaulting his ex manager. Bro pulled a gun out on Frank ocean and had him jumped over a parking spot. This isn’t just a one time thing!! Y’all are insane to ignore his abuse. I I

Rihanna admitted that she was fighting him also I’m not saying he was not wrong in the situation but they were both wrong for putting hands on each other. The only reason the restraining order was out on him with karruche was because he didn’t go to court to fight the order. To call him an abuser is a stretch for a one time incident that happened when he was a teenager. How can someone better themselves if people continually hold one mistake against for the rest of your life especially when the people who were actually involved have forgiven and moved on

98% of the time Mona is right when it comes to social and societal issues, but what we’re not gonna do is defend a repeat abuser. Why do we as the black community excuse domestic abuse? You talk about how Chrisean and blue face relationship makes you feel but yet a man beating his girlfriend nearly to death is excusable? And I would be somewhat sympathetic if the one instance with Rihanna was his only mishap, but Karrueche still has a restraining order against him for his abuse. he still jumped frank ocean and for what? Still don’t allow dark skin girls in his section or at-least didn’t. If you wanna separate the artist from the music, that’s your choice, but let’s not act like he made one mistake and has been on the right path ever since🤷🏽‍♂️

Once you do something over and over it’s no longer a mistake. It’s a pattern and apart of your character. His redemption started with the relationship with Karrueche but he displayed the same behavior. Do you know how hard it is to get a permanent restraining order? The behavior had to be mad crazy in order for that to be granted. The “public eye” hasn’t seen him try enough with getting help or him go in the direction of redemption. He still has his “bad boy” image… He is extremely talented but should we really overlook the abuse because of that?

Y’all are being purposely obtuse. I watch this show every Wednesday at 5:15-5:30 AM. I LOVE Mona my Aquarius cousin, so you damn right I’m gonna give MY opinion…if y’all want to go there let’s go! Do y’all not remember that BET AWARDS performance when Chris Brown broke tf down in tears while performing because no one gave him a chance on stage after that rih Situation but BET, and EVERYONE IN THE CRowD stood on they feet and applauded and CRIED with this man?! That was redemption! For him to turn around and be a TYRANT to karreuche?! Have y’all not read those police reports that she placed? Not only that but there are many “accusations “ of Chris pulling this same abusive behavior on other women. It’s not about giving someone a break, it’s that we gave you a break and you continue to do the same mess! Chloe has a very faith-based , homely audience.. they be mad when her ass is out! So what makes you think they’ll be ok supporting her next to an abuser? That’s beyooond me. After that Ari situation with DV, you constantly capping for DV IS making you look real pick-meish…and I KNOW that you’re not..or do I? Man y’all just keep these type opinions in house bro fareal cuz I’d hate to have to stop watching you like I did Joe budden. I loved joe budden. ✌🏾

Most people are good people who make mistakes! They are allowed redemption & grace! If you’re a bad person who constantly chooses to be negative & do negative things w no remorse then they don’t deserve grace! Know the difference
