Great content as always; short, sharp and informative. I like how you don't dwell too long on details that are simply adjacent to the main point (like you didn't dwell on the CSS here, which wasn't the point of the video).

Wow, mind blown! Great content Dom! I seem to be saying that a lot. Who needs a front-end framework? It’s really amazing what can be done using web components and a little imagination. Thank you for the inspiration!!

Awesome. Thank you. Yeah absolutely if you use web components effectively then you sure can get a lot done.

It is good video! Thank you! It would be very interesting to know how to output data depending on the selected columns and their order in the "data-headers" attribute.

Your videos are soo awesome. Why don't you try combining everything you've thought us into one big project. That would be nice

hello dom.. if i want to make the component center, i need to apply margin to the :host?
@dcode-software Жыл бұрын
Hey, if you want to position a component in the center of something, I recommend using the container of that component to center it. For example, you can use a flex box on the parent to center the child elements (your component). I've got a video on centering things if you're interested: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aGiYhJ58j92AZpY

Will this native component feature replace react?

I wouldn't say so, no. But who knows what the future holds

Web components are great for progressive enhancement. If javascript doesn't load, you still have basic html. They're not so easy to render on the server for now unfortunately.

Hey man, content is great 🎉 I'm following you since long time, more than 1 and half years. This channel is absolutely great for beginners learning web development, some complex topics in kinda vanilla things I'm wondering why you didn't still posted anything on React or NextJs, there are so many things going around Javascript ecosystems?
@dcode-software Жыл бұрын
Awesome thanks for following for so long! I've got some React content lined up for 2024. This channel has been focused on vanilla JavaScript for so long so it'll be a bit of a change up but I'm hoping to reach more people with it!
