i just finished watching this and it really sucks how disney will never make movies like this anymore i missed it when disney made movies that had such a strong message behind it yet none of us really understood them until we got older this movie teaches you to not be so pressured into being the perfect person and to not pretend to be someone that you're not and the most important thing to do is to be yourself it's really sad how back then when we were kids disney & nickelodeon were made for teenagers but then as soon as we became teenagers it started to be for little kids and now kids will NEVER understand these kinds of movies that we grew up with

Even my dad liked this song! I remember this tugging at my heartstrings. Even as a kid I thought this movie was a little more "mature" than some other DC movies. I thought the acting was good, and I was amazed that it dealt with certain philosophical themes like Loretta's yearning to be human, Roscoe's feelings for someone not "real," and all the implications those situations come with. Of course, there were things that bothered me too, like how the singing voices were blatantly older people. :P

This is probably the best DCOM ending. Nowadays, Disney Channel endings are like- "Problems solved- let's celebrate with showy music and dancing and all that partying stuff!" But this ending isn't as flashy and is more humble and the song is more true and more meaningful, as was the moral of the story. The ending's much more touching than the modern DCOMs'. It deserves more attention.

This was my very favorite DCOM, right along with the Zenon movies, but I think this one was so powerful and wonderful because image and perfection is something we all struggle with and it is presented in such an abstract way through this movie. It was underrated back then but I think that this was one of the best, and most relevant, DCOMs after just watching it again as a grown up.

@wizardwarrior71315 жыл бұрын
Loretta's talent is in pop rock songs (high, fun & energetic) and Sam's is in inspiring ballads (kinda lower, but beautifully flowing) I love when she discovers that. This DCOM ending is the BEST! It's so much better than the ending of HSM, Camp Rock, and Starstruck, don't you agree? Disney Channel thinks, "ok, we need sad breakups & a happy, partying ending." But Pixel Perfect is different. It has more than that.

About a dozen years ago I was cleaning around the house when I heard this song coming out my daughter's bedroom. (Pixel Perfect had just aired for the first time on Disney and my oldest daughter had begged me to get the soundtrack CD.) I stopped in my tracks and listened to the song and it was surprisingly good; a beautiful lyric and great music. I walked to her door and leaned in and asked her what was playing. She said "This is the Pixel Perfect soundtrack - now you know why I wanted it so badly!" I didn't know that a Disney TV movie could be such a thoughtful and moving work -- they really had some serious talent involved, clearly.

I hope someday someone can make you watch daily homevideos of all the bad stuff ya done while the rest of your peoples have a nice dinner without you criticizing everything they do and using other people to make them feel down. Like for example, no one is going to negatively critique (when they’re not involved in any way) a rap or song until you show them how to because you’re a delusional hating wench and I’m Ali’Caylah ya dumb broad enough with your technical rhetorical bs you don’t know real rhetõric and I saw some of your college stuff it was very important that I let you know I found your paper to be shallow and pedantic. Just admit to YOUR nonbrothers from PIRU N’ BONE that you and Themma have been in a pacto de zomodaraffsaz exageradasss to ruin your family’s life and for what? For no reason! The scene in Sam's mind makes me cry every time I watch it, and it is the reason this is the only DCOM that will stick with me as long as I live. Well, this and Minutemen, but that had lesser emotional impact because it was all boys. Such a powerful message and life lesson for children and adults alike. And this song was such a perfect and natural follow-up to that scene. I miss DCOMs like this soooo much :'( . I wish I could show this movie to my niece now that she is older, she was too little to even want to watch a movie like this back when it released. Even if she doesn't connect with the movie like I did, I just wanna be able to say, "that's Leah Pipes, 9 years before she starred on The Originals" xD :3 .

Pixel perfect showed you can make a mature movie that kids understand and still is fun but has a lesson
@metawolf9872 жыл бұрын
@@Truecrimeresearcher224 Yeah, Disney used to do that regularly with their DCOMs. But all that changed after High School Musical. As far as I can remember, Invisible Sister was the only throwback to older DCOMs. With the Original Series', Ultra Violet And Black Scorpion seems to be a throwback to older shows, but the modern social media culture is bogging it down I think.
