make sure you have relevant work experience under your belt before applying! i think that is what really helped me get in and get the role that i did!

My son is very interested in doing DCP. He is going into his junior year of college and at this point (because of Covid) is thinking of applying after he graduates. Are there advantages/disadvantages to waiting?

i think the biggest advantage is that you can continue to grow with the company after your program without worrying about finishing school! the biggest disadvantage is being patient LOL!

yes it is a 20% acceptance rate! the role that you get depends on what you major in in college. most of the people in my role are theater or education majors

This is my literal dream! But if I'm not mistaken, it is impossible to join the dcp program if your not form the US/ studying at a college or uni in the US. Is that correct?

Depends. I’m British and have always wanted to do the DCP but thought I couldn’t however I can’t remember the exact name but there’s an international college program for people not from the us that you can join and plus when I went to Disney a couple years ago with my family a man at the reception of the port Orleans hotel told us he was from Birmingham in England so I’m pretty sure anyone can do the dcp

Aww I was children’s activities in my program in 2015!! I was at All Star Music Movies and Sports and then I got deported for two weeks to Pop Century and Art of Animation so I got super lucky I got to experience all those different hotels!
