Cool fact about this performance: this is the last song of a 2 hour live, and Taka was feeling sick throughout the whole thing. I still don't know how he managed to pull this off, this is one of their best ones.

Aaak i remembered watching a documentary, after the show they looked like they were dying of exhaustion.. like literally dying.. breathing heavy, ice bag on their nape, collapsing on the floor carching their breath. I can't comprehend how they showed no exhaustion on stage. So professional.

The Japanese fans/audience are respectful towards the artists. They know how to behave themselves when it comes to concerts. They are even obliged to how phones are restricted in concerts. That is why I really love to watch OOR concerts DVD and some of my Kpop groups favorite DVD concerts in Japan becoz the crowd is really great.

This is my favorite performance of "We are," one because it was the first concert I went to of theirs so it's a bit special, and also because of the way Taka belts out "I'm not afraid" before the bridge. He was sick during this tour which is why he sounds slightly nasal, but it adds a certain rawness to his voice that really works. It draws out more emotion in this song. I recommend you also check out the 18 Fes version, which is a rehearsed performance with 1000 specially selected 18 year olds. Re: the crowd, ONE OK ROCK crowds in Japan can be pretty rowdy too. They had an incident where some audience members were injured during the previous tour just before this one, and that's actually why this Dome Tour was entirely seated, even in the arena. I'm still going through your new videos but I saw that you reacted to "Mighty Long Fall." I think you probably saw in that one that the Japanese crowd knows how to mosh too. If you watch any videos from their Nagisaen concert, there were as many as 20 mosh pits going on at once and since it was outdoors, there was some throwing of water bottles in the air too. There is an official video of "Taking Off" at Nagisaen where you can see the 55K-person crowd. Edit: Nevermind, you reacted to "Mighty Long Fall" at Yokohama Stadium instead of 35xxxv Japan Tour. There's more moshing at 35xxxv Japan Tour, and I highly suggest you check out that video too. That performance is more indicative of how the performance of the song usually goes at their concerts with everyone really into it. At Yokohama Stadium, the song was still pretty new at the time, and it's outdoors so the audience's voice doesn't resonate as much.

Your hat was awesome! You could tell he wasn't feeling good because on his last run, he wasn't running as fast as usual but did it anyway because that is what he usually does. He doesn't like to disappoint his fans and I think there was only one concert that was cancelled because he just couldn't sing. He is just so amazing.

Yes, it's a bit striking in the beginning how their audience behave, when you are used to metal concerts in Europe with circle pits and a lot of push and pulling. However, the best concerts of OOR are namely their concerts in Japan. One Ok Rock is my favorite Japanese band. I've listen to them for 7 years. But I would suggest you to react also to Crossfaith, another Japanese metal band, with their song Monolith (live on Download Fest 2014) and also Faint (the song of Linkin Park) covered by Crossfaith with Masato from Coldrain (live 2020). There are incredible metal bands in Japan 🤘

Yes! I always notice how the Japanese audiences are much more polite and they scream at the right time so they don't interrupt the performers. 🤐 They sing and participate when the performers give them cues and just enjoy the moment their in. It's awesome 😁Like you can actually hear the performers sing. I hate watching American (I'm American 😅) live shows cause everyone is screaming the entire time and I just wanna shake them and be like: "If you wanted to scream during the song then do it at HOME!!?!?!?!?! 🤬 Why bother coming to a live show if you don't actually listen to the performers sing!!!?!?!?!?" Annoys me to no end... And it stinks because I love watching live shows 😭 I'm not really sure what your usual style is but if you check out RADWIMPS (any of their live performances) you'll see that their audience is polite too! And their music is amazing 😁 Another great Japanese group but not Rock. I have no clue what genre they are, I just know that I like them 😅
