I have been grinding open wheel, got 2600 wins 1000 lost legit, i have recently reached that 1000 lost because open wheel has been a challenge, i understand why and this has reignited my love for racing because there is so much to learn and so many challenges to tackle. tuners got me hyped and then disappointed after the nerf but holy fuck this is so cool!! thank you!!

I thought the exact same thing when I found out aswell, that’s why I made the series of tutorials. With so much info it really makes gta feel worth it 👍🏼😊 I’m so glad they have helped re-spark a love of racing in gta 👍🏼

Are you holding the throttle through the corner and are you meant to brake until the apex of the corner? I’ve been trying to do this and I seem to never brake enough to go around the corner cleanly and hit the wall a lot
@owensbeatedbeans2 жыл бұрын
Take off throttle otherwise the technique won’t work Either on the brake ( soft brake technique ) or on the throttle :))
@dws12342 жыл бұрын
Probably a dumb question, with these set ups etc. you of course have the stock brakes, is everything else upgraded to the max? Excluding wing and spoiler choice of course.

Will be making a video soon about other upgrades and the difference they make :)

Great video! Generally I think that the stock braking technique is the most boring thing for racing in GTA. The only good thing about it is that skill is a huge factor in mastering it but for me racing is going as fast as possible on any given position on the track (except for tyre management), which with this method you ofc do not. But great video nonetheless.
@owensbeatedbeans2 жыл бұрын
With this method it’s similar to how the real life cars save ERS You still have to drive on the limit of what you can do So you are still going as fast as possible :) It takes a long time to master haha
@owensbeatedbeans2 жыл бұрын
Also tyre management is still a key part, have you seen my other tutorial then I take it on the open wheel series? :)
@darthelooi80212 жыл бұрын
I have seen some of your videos and they are all very good, yeah it’s still a massive challenge so that’s nice. One thing that would make racing with these cars even better imo would be to higher the top speed by a lot so way more corners would need braking or coasting. Right now (on pc when I’m not using controller) so many corners are just flat out.

@@darthelooi8021 hopefully with the speed upgrades coming in the new edition, we will see more of this :) The open wheels has a very similar vibe to trackmania at the moment in a way

How do you do like 20% or 50% braking? Like, if you have a sim setup with pedals, that is understandable but how does it work with a button? Even controllers for consoles use buttons for accelerating and braking and that is like either 0% or 100% brake pressure, how do you vary it?

Interesting how you guys call this drck and drck2 method. On PC we call this smooth braking and gay braking.
@owensbeatedbeans2 жыл бұрын
This is a technique that uses the smooth braking technique. The 2.0 method is only really used on about 9-10 rockstar track corners
