That second last stage in the apartments was so intense. I nearly pissed myself when i used the flamethrower on the alien and another one dropped right in front of it. Also the aliens behavior was much different in this I found, in that it was a lot more aggressive..

The Alien generally becomes more and more aggressive as you progress, although it appears to be super-persistent at the very beginning, even when you have nothing to distract it with. I swear, I'm a 25 year old man and this game still genuinely scares the piss out of me. Classic Resident Evil is like daycare compared to this. XD

Anyone notice that the Alien always has a tendency to appear whenever you complete an objective? And also, the looters are mostly security personnel? The Alien infestation has really sent Sevastopol into anarchy hasn't it lol.

The Ugly Barnacle the security personnel was the best equiped for the infestation(still shit tho lol) so they were the ones to last the longest

Yeah, the story is that Seegson Security set up shop in the old colonial Marshal Bureau in the Lorenz SysTech Spire, and they were essentially squaring off with the Colonial Marshals...kinda like what's happening right now in 2020, funny enough. So yeah they're all over the place because they became hella hostile and would shoot on sight! They were led by that Sinclair character, and we saw how he ended up....:-\

Sevastopol was already in bad shape before the Xenomorph showed up: there was a corporate exodus underway, supplies were running low, there were riots and runs on what was left, crime was rampant, and Seegson was in the process of dismantling the station when the Anesidora brought the infestation on board. This was already a collapsed society, one that would've been unable to save itself even without the Xenomorph making everything even worse.
