That was cool to watch, no idea what the letter cominations you mentioned mean, but it was cool. I wish this level of detail was in Arma!

ArmA is more of an Infantry Sim - it actually does have real-world military uses as well, being sold to Government agencies as Virtual Battlespace, just as Eagle Dynamics has defense contracts. I think most of us would love to have the ability to merge titles like DCS and ArmA, but alas, I don't see that happening within my lifetime unless wargaming and MilSim become a LOT more mainstream. There are entry-level modules available under the free DCS World and the affordabe Flaming Cliffs 3 (and soon to come Flaming Cliffs 2024 which adds a few new-player friendly mods to the FC3 package).

@@docogg50 Oh I know, been in the Arma-scape since OFP. PC's will have to improve a fair bit to have all things max simulated in one title. When I finish my replica Hurricane flight controls for IL2 Cliffs of Dover, I'll be making helo controls for Arma and hopefully DCS. Fank fark for Leo Bodnar!

@@Chilled_Mackers I've used their products before! Nothing major, just a little prototype for a panel I was going to make before realizing I do not have the space for a full setup like that, but it did show me that I have the ability to do it!

@@docogg50 Yeah their boards are good bang for the buck, really adaptable. I've designed my frame to take a Hurricane flight stick, which is secured by 2 M10 bolts - so I can un-clip the cable and put in my helo pudding spoon flight stick, using the same two bolts. I'll use my pedal bar for both though. My chair will have the mount for the accumulator, so it isn't in the way all the time - the otherside has some button panels and a cup holder. It is a piss easy to do, it's just a large collection of small things to make, in a small space. Hardest part was getting the right radius arc of the magnets, so that the swing matched the travel while giving as much fidelity possible via the sensors, to the board. Welding the Hurricane spade-handle was really enjoyable - pie-cut pipe and a mig welder - my bliss.
