DCS: Contention Ground Attack Combined Arms

It works really well as actual combined arms....air and ground units working together. It's a shame that they disabled artillery as it caused an issue on the contention server (it's fine normally just their scripts - which they are trying to fix).

I wish the vehicles were full fidelity and you could do actual ground combat.

OMG that's gotta be one of the best DCS videos ever. I was on edge of my seat the whole time. And that last mirage :D ROFL. Now next time, take out a SA-15 or SA-19 :D They are fun in combined arms.

interesting to see some CA gameplay. You should wait with shooting jets until the start taxiing at least, to maximize the damage. Otherwise they will just reslot.

How often does the server reset? It took a full 24hrs to route the ground units

The server restarts every 14 hours or so as they don't do night time - but the current situation is saved so it continues until one side wins. The 24 hours wasn't the journey time. It was probably a 2-3 hour drive...but I set them going - went to bed - came back the next night and drove the last couple of miles.......though there is always a risk that they might get discovered by the enemy and killed...or friendly forces take control of them (and lose them).
